This is sad, cos there are some great mods and a lot of unofficial 'fixes' for PC game play ....

Edit @bri193   Closer to 18 or 99? Hmm.... "gets out windows calculator" I am closer to 18 side of the slider bar... lol When you look at it that way. Seriously nifty! lol

Let see..

Things I'll admit to remembering.

1977 The first Starwars movie came out. I was there release day with my parents. I was not old enough to see rated PG movies alone.   lol

Atari 2600 was a family Christmas gift. Came out the same year as Starwars.

I remember ALL of the 80's  "shudders" I had no idea anyone could use that much hairspray and live to tell about it...

I'm done with my big reveal.

I had a Commodore C64 !
God I loved that machine... weirdly enough I gave it away to a local recycle store a few years back and regretted it less than year later lo... They're actually selling them again I think as well lol, but didn't find it worth getting a new one. Do play emulators sometimes but its not the same thing, the feeling is a little different! And weirdly enough except for Dragon Age... Those days where the best days in computing. Posted Image

I did not own my first computer until 1997 :) Pentium 2 233 mhz with a BIG ole stick of 32mgs of RAM. A Voodoo 3 vid card and a 4 gig Hard Drive.. Met some geeky people that had all this fun talking out their pc's and went out and bought one. I did not even know how to turn the thing on!! Now I can build my own.. "beams with pride"

C64 was my first computer, however my first PC was handed down to me by my dad it was an old XT (flatly called a 186, the predecessor of the 286)... The first PC I bought new that was entirely mine was a Pentium 75 with I believe 32 MB of memory and I believe a Diamond S220 videocard (but it could be that I bought this one later), I added a soundcard and a cdrom drive later on and it even got upgraded to a Pentium 150 MMX OverDrive CPU later on hehe! :)

I remember the first Star Wars, too. Also saw it with my parents. The 80's would probably be considered my "formative" years - first boyfriend and all. First real job in the late, late, late 80's.

Goodmorning / Afternoon BostonVamp! :) How are you today? :)

About the 70s: Andrea Corr was born in 1974, think the 70s where a good year for beautiful women being born! :) Seems every time I look up a beautiful actress she turns out to be born in the 70s! :)
