Did anyone ever catch this show called "Swingtown?" It was a mid-season replacement and wasn't on long, but it was about a 1970s family that was really falling apart. Very interesting and risque for basic television. Starred Jack Davenport from Coupling.

A cubit is the first recorded unit of length. I think bri193 is exagerating a little here :P.

Oh, and the best year must be 1978, of course. Dire Straits' first album, Garfield's first comic strip, AC/DC's Powerage, Van Halen's first album, Toto's first album, the films The Deer Hunter and Coming Home, Our Constitution is approved ending 40 years of military dictatorship, and someone really amazing was born ;).

Do Desire Demons have tails, I can't remember now (guess my attention wasn't really focused there :P)?

Oh and yeah, the Dr Who remake (re-visioning?) was cool, though the old Baker Who was quite cool as well B)

I'm also a fan of the new Battlestar Galatica and the new show, Caprica

I think Baker's a given - just a legend as the Doctor.  My husband loves Caprica.  I haven't seen it, but he fills me in on it every week, so I kinda know the storyline.  Looks like they did the same thing as Star Trek did with Enterprise.  Cool concept for both shows.

Yeah...remember when MTV actually had music on it!  How else would we have ever been introduced to bands such as Duran Duran, the Eurythmics, Dire Straits, Aha, etc.

Lion, yesterday you were asking about favorite TV shows. Well, I thought of one...Coupling...it was a BBC show which I adored. Own all of the show on DVD. Really hilarious if you haven't seen it. In America, it was billed as a British version of "Friends," but don't you believe it. Much, much, much better than "Friends" ever though of being.

Love coupling!
Its on one of the Comedy channels at the moment and its fab!
I also think its better than Friends, weirdly enough I loved Friends when it came out but when I see episodes now I really can't imagine anymore why I thought they where epic at first hehe

BostonVamp wrote...
Or course, love "Doctor Who," but only the David Tennant episodes. He was really good.

hehe we seem to think alike a little... I'm a huge Dr Who fan... I was geeky enough to visit the Dr Who museum in Blackpool when I was near manchester! :)
If you like David Tennant you might like Peter Davison as Dr Who too, he was David Tennants favorite Dr Who and he based his Dr Who on Peter Davison's...

I would think so, being a demon, right? And I can't imagine she would distract you. Posted Image   I have to admit, the first time I came across one, I was a little taken aback by her hand gesture.

It would have been cool if the Desire Demon could possibly change gender based on the PC (but then again, the Warden in question could be gay or bi-sexual, so maybe it still would be an issue for the AI to figure out which model to work).  Still would be interesting for the Desire Demons to adapt to the desires of the Wardens (though of course the female models worked for me :P), though possibly it wasn't really possible technically
