I just hope that doesn't mean they force me to take him along (more than once)...  His class never seems to fit into my group builds too well. Don't mind him playing a big role in the same way Alistair did however.

So.. was they able to reconnect Oghren personal History from Awakening to Origins and aren't they able to ensure that they have reconnected in some way, at least in the easiest and cheaper way possible, the personal history of MY character ?????????????

Well the decisions you made in Origins will carry over and should affect the story in Awakenings in one way or another. How and how much this will be noticable is still a mystery however.
Regarding your love story with Leliana, well they stated it would be acknowledged so someone might bring her up in a conversation, perhaps there's even some history about what the 2 of you have been up in the past or you might be able to choose what the 2 of you have been up to.
She however won't be around in this expansion, which I can imagine sucks, I just consider it a business trip!

I must be one the few who liked Oghren... Once I got him, he never left my party and was there through to the archdemon battle. I did all of Orzammar, Brecillian Forest, many Denerim side-quests, Landsmeet and final battles with Oghren, Morrigan and Shale. Well, I swapped out Shale for the Anvil quest since I wanted Branka's golems for the final archdemon battle. These were the only additional forces I used... All that work getting the treaty forces, and I never used them once, only the golems and only for the archdemon battle ...

It's not only about my story with Leliana..

It's a general thought for al people and players which, today, are still not able to know if and how they will be able to see their personal story carried on and it's just a shame... until they won't build a new chapter with a new character Dragon Age Origins is also the story of their character and having just a question mark about some things they liked is a steal !!!!!!

Ah ok Misunderstood you then Max!
Well Awakenings is a side adventure but yeah we don't know if there will be another chapter in our characters life... All we can do in that regard is hope, although I believe Bioware would be foolish not to continue it or at the very least bring it to an end in an expansion.

In regards to Oghren, I didn't really hate him but I found him a little cheap. Am hoping they'll give him a little bit more depth and that they removed the feature where he falls over 6 times in camp before he accepts my dialog request click.
He never really went with me and my party, did take him into the Deep Roads last time however. The reason for that was that he never fitted in my group very well, but thats a personal preference. I always found it hard to work with his class, I also never took Sten for this very reason.

Third.. I believe there are movies who must not have a sequel.. because they are just perfect... I refused to watch "the Crow" sequels.. as for example I refused to watch "Blues Brothers 2000"...

Saw The Crow sequel - didn't like it.  Didn't watch any other sequels after that.  Just have The Crow on DVD and will pull it out on occasion to watch - is in my line-up of must watch for Halloween.

I don't have any feelings about Oghren either way. Lion - it did make me laugh every time he fell backwards and you could hear the sound of the clinking armor. I mean he fell straight backwards - ouch - that's gotta hurt. Of course, being so drunk he probably didn't feel a thing!

hehe I thought it was fun the first 2 or 3 times but he kept doing it every time I wanted to talk to him in camp and he did it multiple times... just became annoying!

I liked Oghren a lot, and didn't find him a flat character. I like his reaction in the Urn of Sacred Ashes quest when the Guardian starts questioning everybody.

The only character I can't stand is Wynne. But that's just me, if there's one thing I can't stand is hypocrisy, self-righteousness and people that believe they're always in the right no matter what. She embodies those three "virtues", mind you. Maybe that's why I can't play a chantry zealot neither... I just can't do that.

So, last night I stayed up to late having an ending in DA:O  I never thought I would do...

My HNF, I really adore this character. Her rogue build is my best so far. So I decided to break the game off just after saving Anora and have multiple endings.

First ending...
Killed Loghain
Alistair & Anora marry
HNF stays Alistairs love on the side

Now, what surprised me here. Anora accepted the fact I would be Alistairs love even after they marry. she begged for us to be discrete and not embarrass her. Even knowing this, she does not turn on me at the landsmeet. In part, I think this is because she knows my pc has so much support from the landsmeet already.

Alistair does not break up with my HNF. She then stays with the GW and he follows later after settling into court.

Second ending...

I did the typical "Marry Alistair"


Third ending

This is the one I was shocked I could manage to carry through.

Talked Alistair and Anora to marry
allowed Logain to live / joining
plied Loghain with every map I found in Ferelden to get rating up
Took him to RtO with Wynne  "BTW" Best banter in the entire game
Got him to talk... a lot! He really ticked me off when I told him he cost me Alistair, and I'd thank him later for it.  LOL
I found out some very very interesting things/events by letting Loghain live and getting him to open up.. 

I must say, although I still think he is a jerk... I found getting to know him and some other things was worth the ending..
