@Max, I like that idea of everyone playing cards, adults and kids alike.
@Lisa, I haven't played Euchre in years but I always enjoyed it. Some friends from Ohio taught us that game and many a night was spent drinking schnapps and playing Euchre.

Hey.. i am from Ohio..  Do i know you?    "shakes head laughing"  =]

Nice to see you again. Yeah, Awakening is not offering us much i fear (not that the other loves are better off), so i' right now on my Anger management tour...

Who knows we might get some snippets of information, she might have been sighted somewhere. On the upside she's still alive which is what counts right? ;)
And yeah the other loves are no better off, except maybe Alistair although he'll be a look and chat but don't touch encounter... which has to be a tough cookie too...

I started playing Cribbage about that age too.  And as for bridge...well I was taught the basics but have never mastered it.  So much finesse, and a language all its own.  However, learning bridge made learning pinnochle much easier, I will say that.  Posted Image

Ahh, good to know there is another Crib player here!! 15 2, 15 4 ....  ;)
The finesse and language is what makes bridge so unique ... If you can learn the basics and get to a decent level in bridge, any other card game is a cake walk ...
One poker night years ago the lads wanted to play Hearts .... I told them I play bridge ... They said "so what"... I said,"ok, I warned you ..." After a few hands, they got the idea and didn't want to play Hearts anymore ... ;)

Double run for 8...Posted Image

Oh you aren't kidding...it's almost a secret weapon when playing cards if you have played bridge.

MoSa... You are not alone on the Anger management tour....

As I just read something concerning this.. then I feel like.... like.... like....

(Rage level increasing..... 77%.... 78%....79%....)

I can't imagine, as pivotal a roll as she played, that we have seen the last of Morrigan.  Perhaps absence will make the heart grown fonder?  Posted Image

Now you're kidding me, welcome Mr.  David Gaider. He said nearly the exact same thing about two months ago. The recent comics by Aimo has helped me calm a bit, but i'm still not satisfied. My fear is (for all romances) that in DA 2, they just move and introduce a new character, and we all get closure through the eyes of a new PC and witness things like (Ah that happened to Leliana then, Morrigan is now living there, and Zebran has done that" and so on. And that would extremly su*'+~$ck...

hehe hope so! :) Though what we really fear is that in DA2 she'll return, but you won't be able to play your original character.
And to be fair all love interests should return! :)

Absence does certainly make the heart grow fonder, but I'm not responsible when my character jumps her immediately when he sees her again... I can already see her sue him over it... Posted Image

Hi MoSa09, welcome

getting caught up on the Morrigan thing ...

I am sure we have not seen the last of her... I figure the next expansion (after Awakening), will deal with the 'love-child' outcome ...

Sorry, didn't realize I was quoting David Gaider...just my writer's intuition I suppose.  Posted Image
And yes, just a casual reference to any of the companions, love interest or no, would really suck and be poorly written as well.

Guess there can be worse things in life, especially for a writer (welcome comrade), than to accidently quote the Lead Writer of a very successful story telling video game company and a very successful video game ^_^
