Hi Guys. Thought I'd try to sneak on. Love polenta & gnocchi, as well. Polenta was very hard to find when we lived in Texas, which I thought was odd.

Max.  i think it has become more popular in the last counple of decades. With all the food network shows etc.. 

We also have something very similar here.. but essentially the same thing.. 

I grew up exposed to foods from everywhere, My father was a huge foody and an amazing cook.. I was the only one of my siblings that also loved to cook and good at it

there is a Mexi version of it too.. 

You did that sneaking very nicely!  All stealthy... "nods impressed"

We have many variations of polenta here in North of Italy



classic polenta....







polenta "taragna" which is made with a mix of different flours







polenta "oncia" which is made with a mix of different flours + some cheese

Max.. we have similar versions here. With different names. i'm a pioneer when it comes to food. i'll try about anything once.. unless it really seems like it should not be food. lol

Helm of the Asylum  + Desire Demon + freshly baked cookies = Bliss?  I think we're onto something here!

not a bad idea... it's a pity it's not so easy to become the boss...
and to be honest I am no able to be a boss... I am too softie...

lol...I hear ya.  Might like to do college over again - that was fun.  But nothing farther back than that!
