My character is a human male mage, level 6 at Lothering.I'm aiming at Arcane Warrior then Spirit Healer.Is it worth holding leveling up till I unlock the Arcane Warrior spec at the Ruins? I'm planning to do the Mages Tower then the Dalish Elf quest. Or should I just go direct to the Brecilian forest With the build I want, I don't see Wynne as being necessary, but I like the attribute bonuses at the Mages tower. Any suggestions?

Most A/W abilities can't be unlocked until later levels anyways so I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you wanted to completely fill out the healer line at lvl 14, then I'd save up 4 points before you reach it or just use 4 tomes.
You can still fill out attributes and skills, but save the talent/spell points if anything.

Go to brec forest first, it's not so hard, just don't fight the Revanents till later on.
