I can understand why some would prefer that the main character in a game like this not have irrational emotional outbursts. But I should say that I would only support a weepy scene if it fit well into the story (obviously), and also that I suspect most game developers tend to err more on the side of giving us emotionless characters, which simply doesn't interest me at all.
Besides which, Alpha Protocol looks to be the type of game where the main character and his traits are not fully under our control anyway. Personally, I would have an easier time liking and identifying with the main guy if he were to show a little sensitivity in an appropriate scene, rather than maybe just furrowing his brow and raising his voice a little bit. After a certain point it begins to seem like the main character is existing in a different reality than everyone else, and the story loses credibility.
