I think it will be possible for all species to die or live based on your actions in previous playthroughs.
Helping Tali will probably result in Quarians helping fight the Reapers.
Helping Legion could result in Geth fighting against Reapers.
Keeping Wrex alive in ME 1 and saving the data that could lead to a cure for the Genophage in ME2 will probably result in Krogan helping to fight against Reapers.
Saving or killing the Rachni Queen in ME 1 could lead to the Rachni coming back to either help fight against the Reapers OR come back to kill everyone.
I think your cumulative actions throughout ME 1 and 2 will have a major impact on the outcome of ME 3. After all, Humanity can't defeat the Reapers on their own and Shepard's past actions could mean the difference of having enough allies to defeat the Reapers or not having enough allies and all races are killed (or used up in creating more Reapers).

It'd be funny if they punished the d-bag players who killed the rachni, killed the council, choose Udina and basically did everything wrong

I think they should have it end with the reapers targeting every species homeworld and you have to fight your way through certain ones starting with Earth and depending on what you have done Earth could be blown up and then boom Humanity is now an edangered species then since you can't do anything about that you go to a next planet or something as long as it is a long, huge, and amzing cutscene i don't really care...

Something ridiculous, to keep in line with the first two ME. Mechanozord Saren was gonna be hard to beat, but Bioware did it, giving us the T-1000 Human Reaper Baby with Transformer sounds. So Bioware must top that in ME3.
A giant version of Shepard with laser beam eyes. The Council survived afterall (even if you killed them) and they merge to make the ultimate ah yes, the "Reaper" megaform with wide spread disbelief and dismissal attacks. Anything is possible!!!
