According to the Codex from the first game, the Terminus systems were inhabited by various minor races that were not Citadel races, yet we go to the Omega station and see all Citadel races (except for Batarian). Only the Vorcha are new.

They should have worked on some major races for this game and I don't mean the half million or so Drell walking the galaxy
