The statement that it's expensive to build a PC capable of playing games isn't true. There's no need to spend $500 on a video card these days. That may have been the case a few years ago, but current mid-range cards are plenty powerful enough to run single monitor on any of the games out right now. My PC has no problem at all running any game I play and none of its parts cost more than $150 individually. That's a big plus for PC gaming anymore, you don't have to buy top-of-the-line stuff.

Also a bonus now is if you do decide to spend the big bucks on a top of the line gaming rig now it will last you for like 5 or more years. :P

I also don't get how you guys are saying the 360 is better, I mean it's basically a very limited PC thats 2 generations behind the mid level PC's. They are also limited to the types of media they can do. How is that superior?

Its really a preference. Sometimes when people want to play a game, they want to melt into a couch and relax with a console. Others may want to game on a PC for the various customizations available. We're all playing the same game in either case, just with different bells and whistles.

Personally, the only game I play on the PC are ones that are designed specifically for it like RTS games or action-adventure games like Diablo.

One big thing that has me happy with ME2 on PC is that I can save edit resources to avoid scanning. If I couldn't do that, the game would have like zero replay value for me. I hate scanning planets that much.

Scanning sux and pcs are upgradable all around so this argument that the 360 is better is a lame one. However I didn't miss the point I understand people prefer the play style on consoles opposed to pc I for one tend to go for control quality and speed and the 360 compared to the pc lacks in every single way in that department.

The only thing that really stinks when it comes to 360 is the least that worries me since I play on casual: Combat on the 360 sucks all around. But that's because combat on consoles suck, especially once you've grooved to a PC combat style.

That said, I can play the game on either, since I'm really just playing for the story. The combat is nice and all, but it's not what I'm focused on.

Fewer limitations, customization and the better controllers (mouse+keyboard > anything else)

win over consoles any day but the single biggest reason is modding.

Modding makes every game worth more and considering that games on PC are cheaper allready it makes for best possible efficiency.

Saying that you need to upgrade PCs with expensive hardware all the time and that you need hours to get a game working is just bullcrap. Only in rare cases there are problems with a game not running on your system, eventhough it should. And since consoles limit the progression of grafics you also dont need to upgrade your PC.

If you can run one game, you can run them all. Unless the developer pushed out a lazy, half assed port from the console without any optimization (GTA 4).
