I had a weird problem...I bought the disc version for the PC, installed it and right after the install Win 7 (64 bit) tells me it might not've installed correctly, but I chose the "It's okay...it Installed correctly" button and started playing. I've been playing for awhile now with no problems...at least I hope there won't be any problems...anyone else had this issue happen?
I'm thinking of reinstalling. Are there consequences? Will I lose saved games and my DLCs? I'd hate to have to download those things again...should I back up my saved games?
And do I have to reapply patch 1.01? All my settings? Blah. Any help is appreciated.
Does reinstalling have any consequences?

I'm sure it's installed fine if it's running and all. Sometimes Win 7 thinks a program didn't install correctly for some reason.
I would only worry if the game gave an error that stated that it hadn't installed correctly.
Also under your Documents folder there is a Bioware folder that has your save games in it, you can back that up to save your save games. I also noticed that under the Documents folder there is a file called: Install Dragon Age Origins.log. This has all of the info in it from the install.
Hope this helps.

Uninstalling and reinstalling does wipe your DLC's out too, even if you click "Keep settings" when uninstalling (which it's best to do).
When reinstalled and you log in in-game, the DLC's you previously redeemed will be listed as available and begin downloading, but they will need to download again (pain in the arse as I've had to uninstall and reinstall four times now). Maybe different for different editions, but that's how it's been for me on the standard DVD edition.
