In ME2, it feels that all the dialog options with the various characters are open mostly for romance development. Even Mordin has a romantic feel to it and he shoots you down hilariously. There is something to be said for being able to be friends with your squad and not trying to make it with them. Also once you turn down a potential love interest, it would be much better to proceed down this friend path. It felt like that was possible in ME 1 and with the number of characters in ME 2 I expected more chances to really get to know the characters in the conversations on board ship. However, it somewhat devolves into a booty call and I would like to be able to just be friends at times. Anyone else feeling this way?

I never got romantic undertones with Mordin.
I'm obviously not special enough.

You learn that salarians are prized by krogans for their flexibility and Mordin is attracted to Asari like everyone else.

You only get that dialogue if you haven't romanced anyone. If you've romanced someone, he gives you sex advice tailored to whoever you're romancing, instead.

The Mordin romance talk is one of the funniest in game. So priceless how he lets you down easy.

I agree, especially with Jack, she clearly needed help, but the only way to do that of course was get in her pants..i guess. The dialouge needed to be more open to getting closer to certian characters with out it being a romance.
