Can't get DLC xbox live status code 800700e8

I just picked up DA:O, new, from Best Buy. After entering the code, it shows as "purchased" in the downloadable content menu, but when I try to d/l it I get the error message "Can't retrieve information from Xbox LIVE. Please try again later. Status code: 800700e8."

Is this a temporary problem with Xbox Live, or some other issue? Any fixes?

As an aside, the language is all messed up on this Bioware site. on the top it says BioWare Portal Spoleczonosciowy, only the l and s are foreign characters. The menu on the side is also messed up.

This issue came up a couple of weeks ago and it just started working randomly again after a few days, I am trying to redownload and coming across the same issue so i assume its down for everyone and will come up whenever they feel like getting it working again (knowing how EA, Bioware, and Microsoft work that will be a while.)

 Same thing happened to me. Just got the game today and the DLC is giving me that error code. Anything to do? I couldn't find anything other than it randomly started working earlier last week.

Are you downloading it in game or off the Xbox Live Market Place? I had to download/buy all my DLC in game along with registering the codes.

Having trouble as well: bought the game last week and I just tried to download DLC from the game.

I had the same issue with the Cerberus Armor/Shotgun 10 days ago in ME2 and when I tried an hour later, it eventually worked.

trying it in game... hasn't worked all night even into the morning. i've been scouring the net for 7 hours now looking for a solution

I am haveing the same 800700e8 error code issue. Contacted EA Customer Support and they said it was a issue with Biowares servers and to give it a day or two. Who knows they could just be giving me a line of BS hopeing to get me to leave them alone.
