I had to laugh.People like double-standards when there is someone to defend they like.(i like wrex,but i didnt defend this action--it was robbering and murder)
So lets see:
One person killed because of her genes.
Another one killed for money.(after the hanar,thane was a freelancer)
Subject Zero was and is crazy because of her experiments.These experiments conditioned her to have fun/warm feelings when killing.
No one is more "evil" then another.

Miranda's a definite ice queen, I wouldn't say evil though - otherwise she'd be right on board with TIM in keeping the base. And she did agree that what the Cerberus personnel did at Pragia was evil and wrong - what they did to Jack. But yeah, I always call her a b*tch first time I get ;-)
Jack... understandable why she's at where she is now but she isn't beyond hope. If you paragon your way out with her she turns another leaf, pretty damn touching actually. If you screw things up with her then I imagine what she'll do after the suicide mission is over won't be pretty. If you gain her loyalty and become a trusted friend or more then I think she'd at least stick by the one person that gives a damn about her as a person. Work from there.
Grunt's a krogan, a young one, and he's about the fight. Still after his loyalty mission and fighting by his side you definitely become Grunt's new best role model. Another character that will follow you to hell and back. He calls you his battlemaster, I kinda felt more honored to be Grunt's battlemaster than when the council made me a spectre, lol!
Zaeed, I really think the guy is a selfish ******. Evil? Yes and he's not about to apologize for anything wrongs he's done. But he isn't "evil" evil. He just had a hard life and is trying to make the best of things right now. But, excluding Morinth, he is in my opinion more evil than any other squadmate.
