Which card depends on your system, which mobo, power supply and how much ram you have, that will affect which card you can use.

Which graphics card should I buy?

1.  Budget
2.  Planned screen resolution
3.  Available 12 Volt circuit amperage from the power supply

I had the same problem, dropping the screen resolution fixed it. It's not ideal but it'll get me through the game. It basically looks the way ME1 did with "film grain" turned on.

Beware of any combat furball with several enemies at a time.  Even an 8400 GS, an actual video card, as opposed to just a puny video chip, can be balked in that situation.  800 by 600 pixels is really ugly looking, but when you try to get by with ignoring the system requirements, that's the price.

Very true. I have it at 1152x720 on a 22in screen and it ain't pretty. I'm mostly in it for the story, so I didn't mind setting the difficulty to easy.
