Why? because with Jack they already covered the 'psycho ****/bad girl' and with Miranda they nailed the 'rich snobby **** that doesn't give you the time of day' angle as well... Tali's 'girl next door... in an envirosuit' mentality is the perfect counterbalance, giving you choices among the females you're probably going to cheat on come ME3 anyway.

To be honest, the whole Heavy Mech situation, that's more of a reaction from you and Cerberus being there...

As for the Geth on Healstrom, that wasn't really her fault either as if she wasn't so vital to the mission, she probably would've died protecting the person who was.
