I am curious about this. We can supply our Allies with additional 'resources', but what changes and will I know if those allies have been 'upgraded'? I know I gave a bunch of runes to the Circle, but all I got was 'Thank You'. Does stuff change at the end? Will you get rewarded somehow?

Just wondering if its worth my time, that's all. I dont want to sink my gold into the Redcliff 'Mercenary' Army if it barely makes a dent with them.

I've finished the game I don't remember ever getting any feedback about the results of my investment. I felt like I had thrown away dozens of perfectly good runes I could have sold.
