For all of you out there that have embraced this news of Hammerhead DLC with nothing but joy, optemism and giddy excitement for the good things to come.

I salute you! You're ALL kick-ass people.

for all of you out there that have done nothing but moan, whine, question, assume, ****, complain, berate and outright jump to ridiculous conclusions based on 5 static screenshots...

You all a bunch of F**king childish ingrates who really don't deserve all of this hard labour and sleepless nights that Bioware is putting into making all of this DLC for us.

If you really can't feel any posivity about all of this, I suggest you just go sell your copy of ME2 to someone appreciative and go find fun elsewhere.

Not to complain really, but the current swath of DLC feels like stuff cut out from the main game. What did we get? Zaeed (1 loyalty mission, 20 mins tops of gameplay), Normandy crash site (1 mission, less than 10 mins of gameplay), 1 gun and 1 armor (pretty useless) and now the hovertank (initially promised in the game).
I know it's free, but on the other hand, I would not pay for it (loved DA:O, but haven't bought RtO either). All this bitesized DLC seems like a cheap trick, used to keep interest at low (or zero) cost since it's mostly content cut out before release. I'd rather have the devs spend more time fixing the game (AA? PC UI?) or work on something more meaty than 15 mins of shooting. I think the type a mission ME1 had (think Noveria/Pheros) would be a good target, or, one can dream, a real expansion pack (like in the days of BG2 and NWN).

My 2 cents.

Not to complain really, but... (I'm going to)

know it's free, but on the other hand, I would not pay for it (Since no one asked you to it's a moot point ultimately)

It his opinion and he's entitled to it. It differs from yours oh no. He's a heretic I must ridicule him. Keyboard warriors are amazing! I agree with him. Feels like its removed content. Oh no ridicule me for also not agreeing with the majority!

Sleepless nights? You make it sound like it's a bunch of meth junkies chained to computers. Just for kicks lets throw in a demonic winged-figure that trashes them with a whip while laughing maniacally.

For the record, I never complained about the DLC.

However, I do question a lot of things and not just video game production and DLC completion/release time-frames. In fact, I question everything down to why we have to use forks and spoons when we invented sporks. Not asking any questions is whats wrong with western society. If we had less sheep who mindlessly consume, work, and die; we would have more progress in the world. Sadly, I'm a minority in this outlook as the vast majority share the opinion that asking questions is somehow wrong.

How some of these people have education higher than a High School diploma is hard to fathom. Regardless, such blatant herd conformity makes me want to vomit. If I didn't know staying alive pissed off idiots I would have killed my self long ago. So you see, I live to spite stupidity and the ignorant. It's what gets my rocks off.

Now I'm just going to sit back and watch the sheep bleat in their field of idiocracy. Because trying to educate someone adamant about being stupid is like trying to fornicate with a brick wall. It might be fun for a little while but in the end it's pointless.

Now go on and point your finger. Accuse me of heresy for questioning the holy orthodox that you deem BioWare and EA.

I give up, I'm going to go read a book. Probably something anthropology related. Social research never fails to prove that the vast majority of people are just puppets to their nature and ignorance. I digress, my point is that I'll be learning something rather than debating pointlessly with people who have room temperature IQ.

Yeah - they haven't even talked about Kasumi yet, some community members just managed to dig information about her out themselves.

I just hope they put it out before these modders do it.  Seeing as all the voicework and stuff is already there, I can't imagine how much more work is needed.

Who and what is Kasumi?

I take it she a new character like Zareed but is there anymore info on this character like race, class, and can you have actual conversations with her on the Normandy, and etc.

Ah, Hammerhead looks awesome xD Also although the Mako was a nightmare, I still really enjoyed most of the exploration in it. Looking forward to this pack so much. And as far as I'm concerned, anything that adds to a game is welcome, that's why I'm still hoping that Team Gizka hurries up and finishes their TSLRP, at least sometime before the release of TOR xD

*And yes I know it's a mod, but it's a restoration mod so it may as well be a dlc/patch

I wish they placed the weapons pod higher up so that the main body of the vehicle can remain under cover while firing. That was my main complaint about the mako.

Regardless I am looking forward to this.

I didn't "insult his opinion." I pointed out that we see it vastly differently. Further, "like it or not" insults my view by creating the impression that he's correct, we both know that he's correct, I just don't want to admit it.

Where are your words for him, hmm?

Lovely. He's entitled to his opinion, yet you do this dippy little "cop" thing to insult mine.

Hypocrisy, indeed.

It was never the Mako, it was those infernal mountains. And the way the Mako could hit a pothole and take damage, yet fall off of the highest mountain on the planet, hit bottom, and bounce for several seconds without taking damage.

I am all excited about the Hammerhead and 5 new missions. Here's hoping that one day 5 missions will grow to many more. (Not trying to be greedy, just hopeful.) I am a little disappointed that Bioware gave us an estimate for release a month in advance. Return to Ostagar? Oh well, still looking forward to it. In the meantime, I'm getting a new level 60 Shepard ready for import. :)

Thats why i liked the Mako. You could just drive off the highest mountain and bounce like a skippyball without taking damage. Unrealistic but funny :P

I hope that the Hammerhead will be a bit more realistic, and that the missions will be fun. Keep it up Bioware!

Dude, enough.  Get over yourself.  I have a Master's degree (in education, ironically enough,) and I'm excited about the DLC.  Does that make me a conformist?  Well, you seem to think that a conformist is someone who agrees with something you find popular (and simultaneously bad.)  Heaven forbid we may have reached our own conclusions about the DLC.  For me, the MAKO was the most tedious part of ME, so if the Hammerhead is nothing like it (as you seem so eager to point out,) then I say huzzah!  We're all so very sorry that the five screenshots were not copy/paste MAKO sections so that you could be happy.  It must be hard having an intellect so expansive that you must drive around an empty terrain exploring random textures to have fun.  We idiots who prefer quality over quantity beg your pardon, and if you like, we will all boycott this free piece of DLC to stick it to those douchenozzles over at BW who are making an inferior game on purpose because Gears of War was already taken.  We only ask that you be the first to demonstrate how to have fun fornicating with a brick wall.

Uh.

Absolutely not. We've worked tirelessly SINCE the main game went into certification in December for this content. The scope of ME2 was so large that there is no way we could have fit this all in.

Give it a rest.

Also...who's Kasumi?

Haha, thank you kindly sir. It always seems that the dedicated forums for any game are filled with righteous ass hats that don't let you speak about "their" game in any negative light, even if you are fully with them on the love. Does anyone really believe that people come into these forums, register and post on an official News thread (by bioware) just because they HATE the game? It is idiotic to say the least. Thanks for being here though!

Even then, the team would not mind if you stated some concerns with the DLC. And would not ask that you blindly just say, "WOW PERFECT" just because you guys worked on it after release date. It's one of the reasons I dread going into the gaming industry, but I've been able to understand why it happens.

Let's wait & see. Please, this will be released, late in march, and once released, you'll have full authorization to say the DLC is bull****. But whatever, it will be free. It's like the Prisonner of Stone for DAO, this DLC was not wonderful, but it was free, and it clearly added to the game.

I'm sure it will be exactly the same for this DLC : it won't be fantastic, but it will add a few missions, and clearly a few hours more to the game. I don't remember a lot of game companies that offer free play time to the players once the game has been released and bought by a lot of people.

But for sure, if you want 20 to 30 hours more, you would have to wait for an add on. I'm sure a DLC won't make it.

Clearly, if it weren't for Bioware, I wouldn't have spent a lot of time in front of my computer this year. Thanks to them.
