Would someone mind explaining who/what Kasumi is?

Kasumi is supposedly the second DLC character, a master thief who we will apparently recruit on the Citadel.

If you listen closely, Kasumi is mentioned in newscasts in the main game. They talk about some daring crime she committed, so she appears to be some sort of master thief.

I think we will get Kasumi in this DLC. We'll probably find her trying to steal the Hammerhead. As she is supposed to have stolen a lot of Cerberus tech, it wouldn't come off as a surprise that she would try to steal a tank. I think it would be a great surprise to everyone if it was like that.

Just out of curiosity, is the Hammerhead something that will be used in future DLC's as well as the starting 5? Or is this just a one-time fling with Super Mako?

I wouldn't doubt it if it's only something we can use on that one mission. Although, they might include it's use in future packs, except, if this DLC costs money, then it will be the only time we use it.

It just seems kind of stupid to make a game mechanic (Vehicular combat) for this singular pack. of course, almost every N7 and Story mission in Mass2 has a "One time used" Set piece, so I guess it's not so weird.

First...  There are FIVE missions included not one.

Second...  Bioware have already said many, many times that the Hammerhead is going to be free.

Any chance of them raising the level cap with this group of missions? Even if its only one or two levels I'm gonna need some added motivation to go through these things with all of my characters instead of just one. Also these 5 missions should easily make it possible to get the level cap achievement the first time through

I doubt it.  if anything it'll make it easy to get the level cap achievement.  I replayed a character on insanity and I didnt level up the whole game. (Level 30 right at the beginining).  I think the best way to raise the level cap is to give every squadmate and shephard another skill tree to level up.

I dont need extra motivation to go through new missions but on the other hand i would like to see a raise in the level cap. I cant say it enough, 30 is way too low. I am looking forward to any and all DLC that bioware puts out, no matter if the level cap stays 30.

...it would be nice to up the level though hehe!

If I didn't know staying alive pissed off idiots I would have killed my self long ago. So you see, I live to spite stupidity and the ignorant. It's what gets my rocks off.

Now I'm just going to sit back and watch the sheep bleat in their field of idiocracy. Because trying to educate someone adamant about being stupid is like trying to fornicate with a brick wall. It might be fun for a little while but in the end it's pointless.

Dude, enough.  Get over yourself.  I have a Master's degree (in education, ironically enough,) and I'm excited about the DLC.  Does that make me a conformist?  Well, you seem to think that a conformist is someone who agrees with something you find popular (and simultaneously bad.)  Heaven forbid we may have reached our own conclusions about the DLC.  For me, the MAKO was the most tedious part of ME, so if the Hammerhead is nothing like it (as you seem so eager to point out,) then I say huzzah!  We're all so very sorry that the five screenshots were not copy/paste MAKO sections so that you could be happy.  It must be hard having an intellect so expansive that you must drive around an empty terrain exploring random textures to have fun.  We idiots who prefer quality over quantity beg your pardon, and if you like, we will all boycott this free piece of DLC to stick it to those douchenozzles over at BW who are making an inferior game on purpose because Gears of War was already taken.  We only ask that you be the first to demonstrate how to have fun fornicating with a brick wall.

Nope, it does not make you a conformist. Now for the brick wall... if you're a guy you need to purchase a fleshlight and if you're a girl you need a ******. You glue the pleasure device to the wall and go at it. Questions?

EDIT: Also, you ad hominum attack at my view points about the DLC is unfounded. Please provide refrence to where I insulted your beloved hammerhead. Checkmate.

For all of you out there that have embraced this news of Hammerhead DLC with nothing but joy, optemism and giddy excitement for the good things to come.
I salute you! You're ALL kick-ass people.

for all of you out there that have done nothing but moan, whine, question, assume, ****, complain, berate and outright jump to ridiculous conclusions based on 5 static screenshots...

You all a bunch of F**king childish ingrates who really don't deserve all of this hard labour and sleepless nights that Bioware is putting into making all of this DLC for us.
If you really can't feel any posivity about all of this, I suggest you just go sell your copy of ME2 to someone appreciative and go find fun elsewhere.

+1:D

Fallout.... or dropout whatever you call yourself... If you don't like the game or aprecieate that ppls ideas, comments, contributions. I'll second Darmock, and recomend that you kindly shut up. You think belittleing someone proves that you're better? You're mentality is that of a miserable and loney person. you and others like you should fix your psudo-intelligent attitude. You only end up looking like an idiot. If you want to reply to me make 5 pieces of perfect DLC and win Goty awards. until then, anything you say will be percieved as coming from a VAPID FOOL.Image IPB

Could "Firewalker" be a nickname for Kasumi? Maybe she's always walking on coals with Cerberus? Man, I'm overthinking this.
