Please, I would love some of the pre-order and cross promotional items.
Forza did it, and in such a way that no one with the special edition was offended.
I do not care if it is a new fish, or tube socks for yeomen Chambers, give me more...
Feed my data lust...

So, uhm... It's 3 o'clock in the afternoon now and it isn't up yet. What gives?
Hi welcome to Planet Earth...its a roughly spheroid planet with a rotational period of about 23.756 hours a day, as it orbits the star we call Sol, or the Sun.
Because of this rotational period, we have what are called, timezones.
And just because its 3pm GMT, doesn't mean its 3pm PST.
BioWare for all intents and purposes has worked on PST schedules for releases.
So now you understand what gives.
Its called:
YOUR ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PLANET AND MOST PEOPLE JUST GOT TO WORK AT BW, EDMONTON.

Anyway, THANK YOU BIOWARE FOR THE FREE DLC. The only company that does it, is far as I know, on such a large scale. I will definitely buy further missions dlc, but PLEASE no more death by falling in lava. THAT is NOT fun at all. More enemies, racing, jumping, but NO MORE LAVA.

Nice add, quite fun to play. Horrible to not be able to save though, and very short. Pity, would have loved more open environment.

Does the Hammerhead jump, because my left shift button does not make it jump as it says it does.
If I want to ride around and shoot crap I would move to Compton.

FYI this is not free content, its only free if you bought the game at retail.
Mass Effect 2 is one of my fav games of all time, but this DLC is pretty lame.

Ahw this is SO lame. I'm super bummed... what is the point of this DLC? It is the Mass Effect 1 Mako scenes that don't let you explore; Noveria, Virmire, Feros ect (minus the ability to leave the craft). I was really hoping for explorable planets. It's obviously (from the screens) just you riding a tank down a corridor. Bioware really lost the sense of scale in ME2. Way back then when I was playing the Bring Down the Sky DLC for ME1, I was thinking how amazingly big Mass Effect 1 is going to be and how enriched with detail it's huge landscapes will be. I was wrong.
Disappointing. Why is everyone saying "Awesome"?
Yes, I realize it is free. And I will play it. But, I'm still disappointed.
You can't tell anything from the screen shots. Stop being stupid.

The firewalker pack is the same damn thing, only your ridding around, collecting a few minerals, pwning some geth, or in another case hopping out of the HH and exploring a Mustafar like space station for clues before it irrupts and lava begins to creep up as you try to escape, ****ing badass!
Here's to hope they expand the missions and make them a bit more free roaming and bigger with some off foot combat and dialogue and choice making of the ME 1 sidequests, and tune up the HH some and give it more guns, this is something I want in ME 3 hands down. I just love turbo boosting around in this sucker, BioWare nice job!

I Concur, sir. I really thought it'll be much more than that, but sadly, I am dissapointed. I played game enough times to not to try and think it'll be better with every DLC, it won't but... I hope I am wrong. Still, I hope Bioware will look backwards on ME1 when they'll be about to make ME3, don't make holes in the game deeper, please. It suffered enough.

I -love- Mass Effect. I was chomping at the bit to play some more. Yet I stopped after the second Firewalker mission, and I'm pretty certain I won't be bothering with these missions again unless there's some sort of plot reason to do them.
This pack is lacking in everything that makes Mass Effect a joy to play and a universe you want to be part of.. I wasn't exactly expecting a character driven piece here, but no dialogue at all? Really? it sucks out the atmosphere.
I could deal with this though, as I'm well aware this is a combat addon. As such I can't excuse the combat being this dull, and yet so frustrating. The combat sections of the main game are so well executed, I find it hard to believe the same team was behind the Hammerhead. It handles better than the Mako sure, but it doesnt allow for enough freedom of movement to make the battles something spectacular. It's a very boring version of the cover/shoot mechanic. And wasn't it supposed to be a hover-TANK? It seems to be made out of wet paper. Seriously I kept wishing I could get out as my team on foot are tougher than the Hammerhead.
The above make these missions sloppy, the lack of save points make them an absolute chore. Would an autosave every time you acquire research really have been that hard?
Bioware, I love your work, but everyone has to be bad at something, and for you it's vehicles. Please leave them out of the Mass Effect gameplay. It's clearly not your forte.
As I mentioned, I understand this content is free, but this poor standard won't fly when you're releasing the paid stuff, so I hope it's not an indication of what's to come. IE Kasumi better be a hell of a lot better.
