I replayed Mass Effect again a few times in the last few months as well as replaying ME2 a few times since its release. I didn't shed a tear on account of the loss of the Mako.

Frankly, I felt the Unreal Engine 3 doesn't do driving sections well. Epic couldn't get it to work in Gears of War or Gears 2. What other driving sections are there in UE3? I'm sure I've played other ones but nothing comes to mind. Any done well? Anyway, this'll bring new missions along with the driving, so that'll be great.

Actually, even though the driving wasn't the best in the first ME, it was nice that it was there. Exploration. Gave a bit of time for build up, for instance, take Noveria. Going to Peak 15. We knew there was some craziness going on up there, and the journey there was pretty cool rather than just being there.

This has got me psyched, and then dropped back down. Late March ain't that bad, but still.

It makes me wonder how acquiring it will be explained. It has the Cerberus logo on it so it will likely come from them. So how does that make sense if you chose the Paragon ending? Weird for TIM to go say "Oh hey thanks for going rogue on me, here's a hover tank."

Well if you go down to the last level of the Normandy you can see your little drop ship at the left side suspended from the ceiling. To the right is a space that is currently empty that I assume the Hammerhead will be once you download it.

Graphics engines have nothing to do with how game mechanics work.

I'm bummed that there's only five missions, though.  Hopefully, they'll be long with lots of things to shoot.  I'm not complaining too much, seeing as it's free.

At least there's a timeframe now. A great improvement, though I wish they'd had given it from the start.

I hope they just pretend you always had it from the start.

Borderlands did a pretty good job I think.

maybe if you took the paragon ending you get to steal it.

that would be pretty cool.

i hope there are missions with hammerhead vs scions. i want to blast those bastards to hell.

what do you guys think of the title "firewalker" i think it is cool - it clearly implies we are taking the tank to locations that are environmental hazards and require a hover tank. fire world? toxic gas world? ice world? what do you guys hope to see?

What the hell? A MONTH?

I shouldn't be complaining, I know, but I want some stuff and I want it now!
