Game engine for ME2 is Unreal Engine 3.5. For ME it was UE3. If there was some other engine at work for gameplay aspects than the graphics, then you know something that no one else knows. And you are stating that there were two gameplay engines at work here.ItsFreakinJesus wrote...Graphics engines have nothing to do with how game mechanics work.
This is not the case, and I doubt whether you know what you are talking about.
Still have to get around to playing more of that (played it very briefly). It has DLC out, so I'll wait and hope for a GOTY version with DLC to buy a copy of it.Kordras wrote...Borderlands did a pretty good job I think.

Hopefully it replaces planet scanning.
It's a combat vehicle not a resource gathering vehicle

With the 2 months they had I was kinda hoping for more content than that.

Meh. Only 5 mishes with it? I know I shouldn't be complaining, but I was kinda hoping for around 1 mish per cluster; around 12-15 mishes?
Quality over quantity. I prefer 5 good missions to a dozen shoddy ones.

it's not just any old tank, it's a HOVER tank.
Looks like it hovers pretty damn high though, in some of the screen shots.
Can't wait for late March

I hate to be pessimistic (after all, it's still a month away), but Return to Ostagar was downright terrible and it was 1 quest that took nearly 3 months to release.Lightice_av wrote...

I really hope that there are different people working on the DLC this time. Creating DLC sounds like something a company would outsource (please, not Demiurge Studios again).

Well said, Ecael. I think this is my true concern. Of course I'd love to have 5 great mishes over 12 so-so ones, but after seeing their work with 1 quest, Return to Ostagar, I have to wonder if the "quality over quantity" mantra is even worth it.

Well different section of the Edmonton team working on ME compared to DAO, so let's try not to get too pessimistic.
@Forsakerr yeah I saw that, but I read it more as a case of a 'landmine' type thing. plonk it down and then move the hammerhead back to lure some stupid colossus onto the mine and BOOOOOM!

Hurrhurr. Suspension on a hover vehicle.Skyblade012 wrote...
You know, the Mako may have been slow and ponderous, but I'm wondering if controlling it might be preferable to a vehicle that goes 120 kph. I hope it has really good suspension and a tight turn radius.
