On the planet Gai Hinnom (Sheol system, Hades Nexus cluster) is the remains of the quarian ship the Cyniad.  The logs talk about them hoping to return to the Idenna.

This is the same ship that one of the quarians was from in the book Mass Effect: Ascention.

Cool!

I thought I missed that. I guess they emptied it of explosives, found a new crew, and the new crew was slaughtered just like the original crew. Harsh end. Twice.

The ending is very silly. Shepard has been to hell and back (metaphorically speaking) fighting against Geth and Collectors with impossible odds. Then at the end of this side quest, there are five varren, and Shepard and the others are like "OMG we need to evac NAAOOOWWWW!!!!"

Well, I don't think that's so much for YOUR sake as it is for the wounded Quarian. It's hard to give someone medical attention with a space wolf gnawing on your shinbones.

But I *want* the space wolves to gnaw at my shinbones. I can handle that. But they insist on a diet of Quarian Rump Roast...

By the way wouldn't that make the Varren sick, because of the reverse amino-acid chirality?

Varren just need cuddles... nothing that cute could be dangerous. That Quarian has some bacon in an envirosuit pocket, I'll bet ;)

Probably, and it wouldn't do the Quarian any good either.

Actually, there are infinite varren. I'd want to get the hell out of there too. Those things have armour on Insanity!

I appreciated the email from Captain Mal. I just hope Bioware gets Nathan Fillion to voice him if he turns up in ME3.
