Since your game is going to carry over to ME3, I want to try just about every possible choice in Mass Effect 2 including killing off all my squadmates. But since you need at least one squadmate to catch you as you jump for the Normandy at the final mission, is this possible?
Is it possible to get all your squadmates killed and still survive?

Nope. Just choose somebody like Thane or Morinth to live as those two are seen as the least likely to get into ME3.

Others have tried to save only one and still died as a result.

If you take two unloyal characters with you, but the rest are loyal, can you die (No one to help you up), but have the rest of the crew live? I haven't tested this possibility...

Nope, you'll get saved by one of the others. Ecael has done this.
