Yep, sucking dick should also be in the game. The internet, which is filled with gay porn, isn't enough to meet my sexual desires. I therefore wish the homosexual relationships be put in the Mass Effect games.

It would be awesome if Bioware allowed same-sex romances... but only for lesbians! People's brains... I mean dicks would explode!

Mass Effect 2 cannot meet anyone's sexual desires, with fully clothed love scenes and all.  People just with to create THEIR Commander Shepard, as advertised by BioWare.

Lesbian romances are already in the ME games.

I'll post exactly what I posted in the anti-gay thread . If it was done like zevran (i think thats how you spell it) from dragon age then fine who cares. I mean my first character was a all around good guy and I thought I was just being nice to him, then he said something flirty and I was like wait a minute...and started laughing. If its not done in a forceful in your face sort of way, unless you are going for a same sex relation it should have no real mass effect on your game play. I always thought Bioware had the ability to have same sex relations in past games anyways? Like ME1 and jade empire or something... could be wrong though.

I believe the mods have their work cut out for them tonite. I just feel that if supporters of S/S romance go on the "No S/S romance" threads, then it needs to be only for constructive discussion. If we go on there and post gay pictures or try to insinuate that the people against s/s are gay, then we are just asking for them to come in this thread and troll too. So please, everyone try to keep it civil in both threads. We don't want to mods to have extra work, do we? Keep the peace, please. Anyone ever heard of Gandhi? lol

Actually I have 6 dogs (not by choice), I will pet him and hold him and call him George.

George?

Looney Tunes reference:

Also, see TVTropes for the acquired meaning.

ETA:  Oh, yeah and the person who mentioned "Of Mice and Men" is right too.  That's where they got the idea for the character in the cartoon, and why the pets get named George.

I'll go ahead and throw my support behind same-sex romances in ME3.

Let's just completely ignore every argument for and against and say: it's a role-playing game. The player is supposed to be able to choose what their Shepard is like, so why is the choice of sexual orientation denied to them? It's not going to kill anyone by including these choices, and it will give a greater amount of RPG to the game as well as making sure that gay and lesbian players can play their Shepard the way they would want to.

Enough said.

I think the engineer would make a great focus for a future love interest... Great accent and for the few lines he had very funny.

Well what can I say I'm a yaoi fangirl. :innocent:
Go go go! Japan!

Anyways...MShep x Joker might be a nice pairing to. I could just imagine all the banter during their romance. <3

That may work actually. If BioWare will not add a squadmate same sex romance DLC to Mass Effect 2, creating a Kelly type fling is a step in the right direction. Kenneth (the male engineer) might work, him or a new character.

I have trouble picturing Kenneth as a gay love interest, but that's just me.

Actually he is an undeveloped character that has just been introduced. Most gays are people first and being gay is simply a part of who they are. Anyway.. I think he would be a good candidate since so far he is a normal person that left the alliance because of the way they turned on Shepard's warnings. Even having the other engineer following him in whatever he does would work into the story. To me she seems like the mothering- older sister kinda character that would be all about roughing Shepard up if he hurt Kenneth.

I just would like to see it be a more natural inclusion than something tacked on just to shut people up... Not to mention a nice guy instead of the morally bankrupt bi-guy Zev the assasian kinda character.

Ken seems to really like ******, however. He professes this love in a number of his banters with Gabby.

He's not a good choice for a gay LI, actually.  He openly lusts after Miranda in one exchange you can overhear, and later gets very intrigued by Jack's "clothing" (it's the murder thing that puts him off), and finally has some very complimentary things to say about his new boss Tali (who can hear him).  I.e., he's pretty clearly defined as a hetero dog.  Better to bring in a new character, I think.

Hmm.. I must have missed those exchanges. I still stand by wanting a normal kinda guy for a LI instead of some morally bankrupt misfit that gets tacked on. And maybe an Irish accent :P
What can I say I'm a sucker for a good Irish/ Scottish/ English accent.
