Instead of finding hard evidence, we should be raising our own voices and opinions. Let's get back to "I like this idea because..." and "I dislike this idea because...", et cetera?

I'd say you're in the minority, and Bioware shouldn't pander.

Although, personally I feel that this might have derailed only slightly from the original subject. We are justifying claims by putting words in the developers' mouths and relying very much on 'what other people think'.

Yet, a lot of the female I have meat at Cons are cool with gay sex as you put it.
Girls at cons aren't average women. They're ok with two anthro creatures getting intimate.

Gamer girls aren't average women, either.

That's the second time in as many pages that I've seen someone who disagrees being branded a liar.
No one is accusing anyone of lying. But some women here are likely taking exception to Caprica stating that every woman feels the same as she does. Likewise, no one is calling you a liar, but it's unproductive to point to all the people that might agree with you but don't post on the forum.
The only people who matter are the people who provide feedback here in the polls and on the forums. Unless Bioware sends out questionnaires to everyone and their grandparents, the only way they can gauge what their fans want is by reading this forum. If you're not here posting and expressing your opinion, tough. You're opinion won't be - and shouldn't be - taken into consideration.

Interjection - I just got back from Pax East. There were lots of women there - and from what I could see, all were old enough to play Mass Effect.

Stereotyping is a way of life. It's a way of keeping things organised.
Turning everybody into a negative stereotype is not something most of us do, you know. If you think that's normal, your attitude becomes almost understandable.

So I'm 'blind' if I disagree now... I don't think you're worth debating with, you seem very counter-productive to me.
Nobody has stated a reason why there shouldn't be optional same-sex romances yet...

Disagreeing is fun, it makes for discussion, but this wasn't even a conversation to begin with. I think the past three pages should be ignored until we stop acting senseless.
