Although, personally I feel that this might have derailed only slightly from the original subject. We are justifying claims by putting words in the developers' mouths and relying very much on 'what other people think'.

Instead of finding hard evidence, we should be raising our own voices and opinions. Let's get back to "I like this idea because..." and "I dislike this idea because...", et cetera?

That's the second time in as many pages that I've seen someone who disagrees being branded a liar.

I'd say you're in the minority, and Bioware shouldn't pander.

:\\

Girls at cons aren't average women. They're ok with two anthro creatures getting intimate.

That could be said about you and your blind mates as well.

No one is accusing anyone of lying.  But some women here are likely taking exception to Caprica stating that every woman feels the same as she does.  Likewise, no one is calling you a liar, but it's unproductive to point to all the people that might agree with you but don't post on the forum.

The only people who matter are the people who provide feedback here in the polls and on the forums.  Unless Bioware sends out questionnaires to everyone and their grandparents, the only way they can gauge what their fans want is by reading this forum.  If you're not here posting and expressing your opinion, tough.  You're opinion won't be  - and shouldn't be - taken into consideration.

Of course. Nerdy chick=furry. It's like you've got some sort of condition that only allows you to see the world in negative stereotypes.
Edit: Sorry for the insults. I'll try to stay on topic or will just not post.

Yeah you got me there, but girls who go to cons are on average too young to even be playing Mass Effect.

Interjection - I just got back from Pax East.  There were lots of women there - and from what I could see, all were old enough to play Mass Effect.

Stereotyping is a way of life. It's a way of keeping things organised.

Turning everybody into a negative stereotype is not something most of us do, you know. If you think that's normal, your attitude becomes almost understandable.

So I'm 'blind' if I disagree now...  I don't think you're worth debating with, you seem very counter-productive to me.

Nobody has stated a reason why there shouldn't be optional same-sex romances yet...

I don't want to see this thing locked simply because of personal pride. I believe Caprica9 voiced her opinion and so did the supportive Nara.

But please, less stereotypes and more Mass Effect, with a cherry on the top?

You're blind because you don't see the truth. How hard is that to grasp?

We don't want to be either a negative influence or a nuisance for the rest of the community. We are to humbly make a proposal, not force it on everyone who disagrees.

Disagreeing is fun, it makes for discussion, but this wasn't even a conversation to begin with. I think the past three pages should be ignored until we stop acting senseless.

Let's stay on topic please, guys. Keep it Mass Effect related, and keep politics out of the discussion (a number of us, myself included, have broken that rule). If anyone consistently posts with nothing to say, just ignore them. This is a great discussion for the most part, and a lot of us would love to keep it going.

Also - join the group if you support the inclusion of this stuff!
