Honestly I got a bit disappointed that my female Shep didn't take on that Justicar! Heck, she looks yong enough!

Yes, she doesn't look like a 1000 year old creature. But anyways, i thought that was quite interesting to get her attention anyways. And it's the same for both sexes.

Yep. It's not like Bioware even has a history of providing 'and when everything was done they lived happily ever after and had a kid' exposition text for their LIs in other games, hetero or gay. I think DA is the first to even make reproduction a plot point at all, but it's not necessarily the PC's.

Even if they did somehow (IMO) lose their collective minds and dev up an ME where Shepard has a mandatory child, it doesn't stop Shep from being to engage in f/f or m/m romances in-game. Which is what's being asked for here, so yay!

Samara was very well done. I could certainly understand why people were disappointed.

She had huge boobs like every new chick from mass effect 2, how is that well done?

Where in the blazes is this kid stuff coming from? O_o

There is a nice little invention called birth control. I highly doubt anyone in Shepard's position (or his LI) would be foolish enough to let herself or his/her lover get impregnated.

Unless *gasp* they wanted a child!

Right because the aim of every relationship hinges on childbearing.

Wasn't talking about her boobs, but her dialogue options. Out of the possible crew, she actually held interesting, interactive conversations with you, didn't cut you off (damn you and your calibrations, Garrus), and was generally a person you got to know fairly intimately. It was nice, and well executed IMO.

I try to ignore the cup size of women in video games. I just think back to the Onion article about new game tech allowing rendering of smaller boobs and sigh. Someday...

It annoyed me I couldn't get Miranda with my fem Shep, then again she looked like a bulldog, however the real life person Mranda was based upon was hot looking, a shame her face didn't get implemented well.

To be really nit picking, she had toooo wide hips.

-sighs- Is probably not going to happen anytime soon, I bet that even if we ever see drell or turian females, or alive and whitout armor female krogan, they'll have huge boobs despite the fact that not being mammals means that breasts capable of feeding offsprings are arguably unlikely. I already thought they were pushing it with Quarians... I guess different evolution paths could end up with similar solutions concerning child caretaking, but counting Asaris, that already makes two other races...

Anyway, yes Samara was very interesting, even if it didn't involve a romance, it didn't leave me with the bitter pill of 'I have something better to do than talking with you'.

I hope Turian females won't be affected by sexual dimorphism, (if we ever get a chance to see them)
I mean, I know you can't relate them to one specific specie we have on earth since they are aliens but come on, they are kind of lizards/dinosaurs .
It would not be so hard to implement an encouter in ME3, in which Shepard meets an actual Turian female that could be mistaken as a male but explicitly says that she is a female . Without giving a high pitched tone of course .

For all we know, the Turian counselor could be a female...that would be epic
We could call her an ass AND a b**ch .

When i think about it, this is not really fair. I mean, Samara is hilarious no doubt about that. But apart from her BioWare is pretty subtle.
Jack is freaky but not the biggest chest i've ever seen.
FemShep herself is very decent.
Kelly, Gabby and all the Normandy crew are exactly like femShep (coincidence or copy&paste?! who knows... )
All other Asari very decent, including Aria and the bartender Matriarch.
All Quarians are pretty decent.
We know Dr. Chakwas and Tali from ME1 already, so not counting as ME2, still pretty decent.
Human NPC's on Citadel, Illium and Omega are all pretty decent.
That basically leaves us with uh.... Miranda.

So, we got two against an army of "B"'s. I definitely have seen worse.

That is quite unfair too. Her hips aren't too wide. Sure, she's a bit top heavy, but that hardly surprises me in video games, and her face is attractive too. I actually liked her and thought she filled her role well. Sure, she's a cold hard Cerberus agent who only views Shepard as a Science experiment and a tool to save mankind at the beginning. She's focused on her goal and knows what she's worth. That is what she's supposed to be, but she evolves and opens up to the point of turning on TIM for Shepard. This is quite daring considering her sister is protected by Cerberus.
So yeah, if my unfaithful FemShep could have romanced her, She'd have done so

Can't really see it as unfair, just that we have different taste, go ahead, have your bulldog kids!Posted Image

Some people in the game like the same sex... some don't. Seems rather realistic to me.

Actually realistic would be one or even none of the crew being open for same sex relationships, since it is rather rare in society despite media focus making it seem otherwise.

I would agree Miranda should be up for it though, as she was built for (among other things) sex.

-laughs- What is it with people thinking that wanting to romance someone means wanting kids with them? By the holy cheese, if that was all there is to relationships, the world would be a sad and boring place. Besides, considering that if my Shep actually wanted to have kids with her, they'd be even more than perfect since they would share my Shep's genetic code. They'd be awesome, whoever my Shep decides to mate with to have them     B)

Back on topic: Does anyone know if Kasumi is a romanceable character, and if so in a F/F capacity? Or is she just some female Zaeed? The informations I got until now are rather contradictory...

I see your point sorta.

Its cos of the jaw they have gave her which doesnt actually match the actresses jaw at all. In game she is rendered with a really massively prominent underbite which as you believe gives her the appearance of a bulldog in certain conversations/situations.

Yvonne Strahvonski isnt like that in real like. Shes very pretty.

Realism is not really a concern considering that all of the female squadmates want to have an relationship with Shepard, and the only one not romancable is the one who quit having any sort of sexual relationship quite some time ago.
And if you go by 10 percent gay/bi people in the population the changes that atleast one out of ten is gay/bi are nearly 66 percent.( 26 percent that two or more are gay/bi )

Edited for a calculation error

Well, I said one out of the ten or so crew, so... yeah.

As for all the girls wanting Shephard, that is not the case is it?  Samara does not, and there are more men than women in the team by far, so that is a factor.  In any case, women being interested in a sexy action hero and savior of the galaxy does not strike me as unrealistic.

Having every party member be up for gay sex would really pull me out of the story a bit.

As it would do to me too, but really people here are not asking that all squadmates are made bisexual. One S/S option for either gender would content us. Of course then we all haved our own preferences as to who that option should be and considering tastes vary greatly from one player to another, that makes for funny if pointless discussions...

1. Samara does want Shepard. She flat out tell him/her that if she was a couple of centuries younger the two of them would already be rolling around naked on the floor.

2. (Nearly) Noone want to have all the LIs bisexual one male and a female bisexuall ( or even homosexual) Li is all that is wanted by most here.

For Miranda, you can tell that she wanted it badly with Femshep :
Posted Image

And Maleshep wanted it badly with Kaidan
Posted Image

Part of me feels that every character shouldn't be made bisexual . But in the other hand why would it ruins their characters if they were made available for both genders ? If the option is there, and that you have to trigger it explicitely, it shouldn't be a problem .
I have to admit I don't have a definite opinion on this question

Yearh, it the jaw/mouth area, but also her eyes, they look kinda degenerated, really poor rendering. Just can't help thinking of a down syndromed woman, however it all fades a little when she gets her loyalty suit.

I support this topic. It is illogical to stat that the main character in Mass Effect is "pre-defined" when you can choose the character's sex, facial features, back story and class. Further through player's choice of dialog and actions the player develops the character towards a specific goal. There is no reason why the choice of whom your character has a relationship cannot be determined by the player as well. It is not a case of pushing one's orientation onto someone else, but a matter of allowing a person to role play the game as they choose. Considering that KOTOR, Jade Empire, and Dragon Age didn't bring about the downfall of society by allowing players to chose the person(s) their characters had relationships with; I doubt that Mass Effect would if they included homosexual relationships either in the main story or as a DLC pack.
