Nobody ever said they were strippers. They're frequently referred to as "dancers". the world is full of clubs that have women in scant clothing dancing on platforms to titilate interested customers. These women do not shed clothing, and thus, are not strippers, but simply dancers.
Sexy dancers. (nods)
All wearing the same outfit and have the same degree of zero nudity? Really?
Dancers don't have differing amounts of clevage and/or thigh showing? Really?
This is mostly though a comment on how unrealistic it is. I still laugh no matter what they're supposed to be. Its pathetic and sad to me. (Doesn't help that the dancing made me LOL too.)
Well now you're cutting into Bioware for recycling character models, but you have to be aware that variety in character models is a resource drain. Different outfits, different degrees of nudity (if the dancers on Omega -wanted- to show nudity, or felt like it would benefit them) and different character models are extra resources that would have to take up disk space, sit in memory while all the other clutter on Omega is sitting in the background, waiting to pop into view at any moment....
They don't strip because they're not strippers. They look the same because it's a game and Bioware had other priorities.
Like recording Femshep talimance dialogue they weren't going to use! (Oh, burn! Salt in the wounds, femsheps!)
But seriously, this is kinda off topic, so I digress. ;p
