Issues like this can't exist without someone getting mad, like some people in this thread page. That's why it shouldn't be in this game.

Interesting logic. Perhaps all gay people should be shut away somewhere so we don't offend anyone?

Not all, just those (and straight people, no discrimination here) who keep making controversial threads started like these over and over? A few were suggesting a boycott a few pages back.

Not trying to insult anyone, but maybe this reason hasn't came up here yet. Because I don't want any bi squadmates looking at my Shepard's butt?

Now you've reduced the argument to the lowest possible denominator.
If one is confident in the sexuality of onself and/or ones Shepard, then the possibility of such an event, slim as it may be, shouldn't be an issue.

I don't think this issue is "special" because I don't give two sh*ts
about sexual orientation either way.

That's incredibly easy to say when two thousand years of societal development have made yours the assumption.

I like how you just assume I'm straight. That says a lot about how hesitant you are to judge people.

I generally think most people put way too much emphasis on the romance element in these games. It all comes down to personal preference, but according to my personal preference, it's one of the least important parts.

Related: thanks to my functioning system of bipedal locomotion, I don't personally give a damn if the store I shop at or the school I go to has ramps or not - but I can certainly see the conditions under which I would. You follow me?

a) That's a retarded analogy. Bioware isn't stopping you from being a male homosexual, they're not stopping you from playing the game because you're a male homosexual, they're only stopping you from creating a Shepard who is a sexually active male homosexual. You can actually play him as a male homosexual who just doesn't have sex with any of the characters in the game. I'm male and I've played the game repeatedly with female Shepards. If you can only enjoy the game if your Shepard has the same plumbing and the same sexual orientation as you and are going to boycot it if that's not possible, maybe you're the one here that's close minded.

B) Your retarded analogy has nothing to do with what I'm saying to begin with. I'm not opposed to the inclusion of male on male homosexual romance in ME3. I've actually said in this thread more than once that I think it's dumb that they're going the "it's okay as long as both women are hot" route, and it's even dumber that they first created the male on male content and then pulled it. And the excuses they've been making for it are also incredibly dumb. Is that enough of a PC disclaimer for you or do I have to sing "YMCA"? I still think it's retarded to boycot a videogame over sexual orientations, and that you'd actually compare this non-issue to handicapped accessibility, well, if I was handicapped, I'd probably want to shoot you in the face for this flagrant display of disrespect.

Ok, this thread is no longer Mass Effect related and is now just petty bickering. It gets closed.

He's totally right though, that issue has absolutely never come (I'm sorry, came) up here yet. Consider my mind blown.
