Tali, because as it is they turned her into a tease for FemSheps. I fully expected the opposite, having learned beforehand that they'd chickened out even with FemShep this time around, and was rather surprised at the conversation I ended up having with her.  And Jack, not because I'd personally bother, but because it just makes no damn sense that she won't at least have meaningless renegade sex with FemShep . If you're gonna have a double-standard, at least try not to be so obvious about it, especially when said character specifically mentions she has no boyfriend or girlfriend, and that she regularly shared a bed with a male/female couple.

Once again, nothing Jack said implied she was bi or lesbian. Lots of straight women have threesomes with another guy and girl. It's actually pretty common.

I'll agree that Jack definitely gives off a lesbian vibe, but her stories aren't really what implies it.

To be fair, NPCs were in the running.  It's still obviously not to be taken seriously though.  Also, in the Revelation novel, it's pretty clear Anderson is just into women.

I would like to point out that completely platonic partnerships (specifically of the business kind) can span multiple decades without any sexual or romantic involvement!

Besides, I think the only love of Zaeed's life was Jessie.

What?  Anderson is into women?   Then what's the explanation for Kaidan's picture on his desk?  That picture is always there regardless of Shepard's decisions.

hmmm... looks like I'm still in the minority of preferring a new character to an existing one. I would only want an existing one if it was from day 1 and there's just no way they're going to patch ME1. Without that they would have to come up with some explanation as to why it wasn't there from the beginning and that leaves waaaaaay too much room for it to just be tacked on and feel like an afterthought.

I didn't say that he could be a love interest. Just that he gives off those vibes. Besides, Jesse (a gender neutal name for his rifle) is the only one for him.

I've always found it funny when folks think male Shepard can't be gay and a bad ass at the same time, anyone saying that really needs to get punched in the face by a gay guy some time.

To be fair, if, for example, Kaiden turned out to be bi by way of a add-on or expansion, he certainly wouldn't be the first guy to either discover or admit his true sexual orientation (to himself, as well as others) later in life.

Haha one of the toughest guys I know is gay, lol and if he punched you it would hurt
