The dialogue between Tali and female Shepard is a horrible, terrible tease.
And the way she wiggles her hips when she gets embarrassed about prospective suit linkage. Yow!

You people are just seeing what you want to see....as usual.
The dialogue about linking suits that Tali has with FemShep is the exact same dialogue that she has with MaleShep....except if I'm not mistaken, the part about linking suits with FemShep isn't in the main game and only in the extras.

Except that's its not. Tali also tells femShep that she is the only person that she would link up suits with.

Actually, that's not true. The Tali / Femshep dialogue is definitely in the 100% unmodded, vanilla game. I was actually really surprised when it didn't go anywhere.

This shows that the theory about Hale and Meer doing each others recordings is probably correct..
If Tali had dialogue specifically concerning FemShep, then perhaps you'd have a point, but as it stands, it's just wishful thinking....just like Ashley and FemShep in ME1..
FemShep had romance dialogue concerning Ashley, but Ashley's romance dialogue was specific to MaleShep only..

yeah, i was surpised at that, but i'd rather have seen miranda. Of course she would probably be the least likely f/f choice

If true, it definitely sounds like an oversight on Bioware's part, because the dialogue for MaleShep is exactly the same..

I'm not sure this is exactly the point, Mordigan.
Liz Szroka did in fact say, "Well, if you were quarian, and a male..." in a somewhat flustered way. Which if true, I'd take to mean "I'm straight, but flattered" -- but that's just my opinion.

She tells MaleShep the same thing..

My point is, that the romance dialogue concerning Tali for both MaleShep and FemShep is exactly the same, and isn't gender specific.
If Tali had specific FemShep only lines, then yeah I'd have to agree that it meant Bioware planned her as a F/F romance option.....but she doesn't..
Compare Tali to Jack.. With FemShep, you can pursue Jack all the way up to the point where she tells you she doesn't want to be a member of the "girl's club."

She says nothing about you being a male or not.

I still really dislike the idea of being able to choose orientation at the beginning or 'turn off' content.
Sure, you could argue that it is similar to choosing your sex, but still.
It should not have to be something you choose. It was not in Dragon Age, or any other Bioware games (that had same sex romance), at least.
A question, for everyone out there, who is hoping for a new character instead of the old romances being restored;
Would you prefer a new bisexual character (that is male, perhaps), or a gay male, as well as a lesbian character?
It saddens me that it is more likely that bisexual characters will get added (they seem to be the only same sex options these days.), but it is something, at least.
I don't remember her ever mentioning a male quarian especially.Mordigan wrote...

No, if I remember correctly, the comment was in reference to what "linking suits" means in regards to opposite sex Quarians.
In other words, if a Quarian male and female decide to link suits, then it means they're going to bump uglies..
