Lol all you guys crack me up. Especially DarknessBear. You can't claim what ME fans really want cause A. You're not the spokesperson for us all and B. How many fans are actually represented on this sight? The game sold millions and is climbing rapidly so *somebody* must be happy with the game and the way it's played. I for one am very ecstatic about seeing vehicle footage and it if it looks arcady who cares? It's free. Like samples at a store, If you don't like the food don't get it. The end.

Yea, nobody here is taking it that seriously although it may sound like it at times. This is a forum, for a game. Where you can discuss the good and sometimes the bad in the particular game with others that are fans. And especially for Mass Effect it can get a little diverse in opinions at time - mainly due to Mass Effects VERY ODD genre. It is a genre that is hard to define and it is completely changes up how games are generally looked at. Especially with Mass Effect 2 with it's refined combat system it divides folks into; I prefer combat, I prefer epic exploration and universe and those that just want all of it. We all have different views of what we think Mass Effect is and those views can often times clash.



And also, why in the world would you come to a dedicated official game board if you do not like to hear people rabidly discuss the game. Haha, I knew what I was getting when I came here and I was prepared to dish as much as receive. You got to take it all lightly. It's just a game we all love and want to see do great things.

I come here to get info and speak to fellow fans of the ME gaming world. that said, All I see are 50000000 threads about  gay romances, I hate ME2, EA is the devil, Maleshep voice is terrible, I hate Gears of war, I'm an old school RPG fan and ME 2 is not an RPG, Helmets don't come off, I want my Mako, I hate the mako...The list goes on and on and on and on...which is fine but then all you get is people bieng dicks since no one here seems to respect anyone else's opinion. It's just getting tired. The poor mods must be on medication by now...

Haha, very true. But I take it this is your first dedicated (game) forum? It's always like that. That's why I rarely come to them. But, it can be fun at times.

Someone may have already mentioned this, so apologies if I'm treading old ground but... why/how was the Normandy picking up the Hammerhead in the trailer? Inside the atmosphere of a planet? I thought the whole point of the Kodiak dropship was that the SR-2 was too big to do that?

@Stoko981: It says that the Kodiak dropship is for the occasions in which the SR-2 can't make planetfall. So apparently, it can, except in some cases.

As Simon Cowell would say , " It was ok a very safe performance." Free is free still willing to try it for something new to play.



But I'm with many on here , it doesn't really do any thing different except they cut out the exploration.Now your just shooting and that's it.



After viewing what was shown it does seem like this was content cut to make the deadline which is not bad , but obvious.

Thanks for continuing to support Mass Effect, Bioware. There are some of us who really miss vehicle sections of the franchise and this seems to fill the gap that the Mako left. Can't wait.

The awesome thing - besides the Hammerhead itself - is that Bioware will make more maps for it. I am fairly confindent they will do this....I hope they do this. Why wouldn't they? They've created an awesome DLC that can continue to be awesome will new locations.

Fully agree. The way Hammerhead behaves in video reminds me greatly of manta. Big jumps, twin thrusthers etc. Ah, Manta, the old pain in the ass of UT2004. Roadkill!

Still, The hammerhead looks promissing. Considering it's going to be free and possibility that Bioware will make more missions for it, I am not complaining.
