I'm playing as an Elf Rogue and just finished going through Arl of Denerim's Estate. I was wondering about a couple of things. First, I had a plot item left in my inventory that I didn't find a use for, a jar of Cleanser. Was there any specific use for this item in the estate? Secondly, there were 2 doors that were locked and required a key, which I never found. Was there a way to open these 2 doors? Thanks for your help!

Don't worry about the locked doors - you'll be back to the estate as part of the main quest and that's when they'll be important.



I have no idea about the cleanser.

My assumption was that you could use the cleanser to poison the guards if you didn't have the rat poison. Never tested that, though.

Yep, that was it. I went back and loaded an earlier save and this time didn't pick up the rat poison. The cleanser was used instead to poison the drinks. Thanks!

Poison them?Meh I just applied Sword to back repeatedly and that was that.
