Repeat until you get bored.
The bad part is, it's makes windows explorer completely unresponsive and you can't eject the media.
This started the day after I bought the game and has progressively gotten worse to the point where I tried 6 times to play the game this evening with each attempt ending in my having to reboot.
I'm playing on a macbook pro using bootcamp and windows XP home with the latest service packs.
So what does EA think about this issue?
(P.S. I went to the waranty site listed in the manual, and I hope they aren't serious about charging me 13 dollars for replacement disks)
DVD spins up...then back down...then back up...then back down...

My DVD-Rom has some trouble reading Disk 1, i thought it was happening cause' of faulty DVD-Rom but it has no issues reading other DVD's in poor condidtion (scratched like hell), sometimes it takes about 2 minutes until i can access it, other times i have to restart and eject the DVD before it boots up Windows and insert it back after i log in... it is pretty weird.

Yep, I've observed the same behavior. Any other dvd works fine.
