where was it confirmed she was even being released? I've seen she was originally planned but nothing about releasing her..course I haven't looked.



and...why bother? if she's like Zaeed with her dialogue..no thanks...I like Zaeed but he's out of place with no dialogue tree..if she won't have one either...they can keep her out

I must be haluzinating,but in my game where are a lot of annoying loki mechs and dogs.And teammates have,for whatever reason,longer cooldown times then shepardt.

If you hack the game, you can get her to accompany you on the suicide mission. Along with Tali and Legion, she is one of the people you can send through the vents without dying.

Actually OP is pretty correct.



I found myself in situation where there was no time to commence AI hacking and i think Tali's skills are good in off.



My hopes are that for ME 3 (or even for ME 2) Bioware expand party slots to four members so i would have get whit me for example Tali as Tech, Miri (or Liara when she will be added one day) as Biotic and Garrus (or Ashley) as fire support.



Such squad would be unstopable...especially if Shepard will have AR too.

You can pick up Assault rifle skill by for all classes by grabbing such on the collector ship.

Yup, also her write up. Which may be subject to change, but still I doubt they will do a 180 on the character. So it is an indication she is a tech specialist. She is sort of a techno-ninja (oh yeah.. I went there).

But yeah, I actually like AI hacking, but we already have 2 characters with the said skill (3 if you play an inflitrator). For a skill with such limited use having 3 squadmates have it is overkill. So what will be her two none loyalty skills:
Overload is a given.
What can be the second one, we have AI Hacking, Combat Drone, Incinerate, CryoBlast, and Disrupter Rounds (a popular one for tech hybrids).

AI hacking is great. One rank is an insta-synthetic/mech kill. Missions where it is useful. Thane's recuritment, Tali's recuritment, Tali's loyalty, Legion's loyalty. Miranda's loyalty, Jacob's loyalty, Grunt's recruitment, Crate side mission, Geth weather side mission, eh i'm sure there are some it missed.

What's to say they won't give her a new ability? Zaeed doesn't share his special ability with anyone else (apart from Shepard obviously, but point still stands)

Ummm he is not talking about the Loyalty skill. He is talking about the two standard skills. Even Zaeed has Concussive Shot and Disrupter Rounds. Kasumi will have 1 unique loyalty skill and two standard skills, and her combat profieciency skill like everyone else. People are arguing not to have AI hacking as one of her two standard skills.

Overload is probably a given. I think Cryo Blast would make the most sense. I don't see Incinerate as a very techno-ninja skill.

i got some good use out of AI hacking.... thought it was neat, since i never used it in the first game.

but, no, she's a thief, not an engineer. she'll probly have incinerate, or something.

Why not give her totally new skills? Like "shutdown" for robots or something that increases drop rates... or wait, that would be for an RPG (sorry, just kidding). Or traps of some sort. Or unused stuff from ME1 like damping, sabotage or first aid (lol, can't even tell if its unused. Just can't remember seeing it in ME2. Please correct me if i'm wrong)



So, anyway: it would be really cool to get some fresh things with a new character. There aren't too many abilities in ME2 and half of them are ammo's. And here's and opportunity to get new ideas.

If i read the ini file correctly, her weapons are the same as Tali's, so if she has AI hacking, she's almost the same as Tali (which is quite redundant and who is quite similar to Legion in skill set)

At least AI Hacking in ME1 worked even when shields were up.

AI Hacking and Dominate are next to useless on Insanity as everything has Armor, Barriers or Shields. The lower levels of each skill only last long enough so that the enemy is still in their 'stunned/changing sides' animation before they start shooting at you again.

Making explosions of fire and death just doesn't scream "stealth" to me.

Actually, AI Hacking is borderline OP on certain missions. Legion's loyalty, for example.

I would love a squadmate with Incinerate and Overload, but I think that would make her cheaper than Miranda.

Maybe Tactical Cloak? Would be nice to see a squadmate run to cover without taking 20 bullets along the way.
