I just got a warning from my anti-virus/Webguard for the patch download.
I accessed it from the social site but I am not willing to take the chance.

I wanted to send it to someone but contact-us is well, broken.

probably a false alarm, but not willing to take the chance ATM.

Is that Avira Webguard? I got the same warning and I have come across a few other folks, all running Avira which makes me think it might be a false positive. But I am waiting before I install the patch too.

It's not needed for Bioware to be the culprit, it's possible for a hacker to have hacked the patch & stuck a virus in it just to be a <bleep>. They do that kinda thing. Why can't they do something USEFUL with their abilities?

It could be that. I just now scanned it with both AVG and Anti-Malware, and it came up clean.

This could explain why the patch is killing the game so effectively for many, like it did for me forcing me to re-install and start over >:-(



With all the connections this game does I'm certain a lot of hackers are drooling out there now.

I download the new patch and it wouldnt start my game so i uninstalled it and now my registerton code doesnt work. Anyone can help me out with this???
