I liked him when playing Paragon, because I could convince him to save the workers and keep him loyal, and he realized we had to be a team to suceed, etc.
Playing Renegade I didn't like him much at all. No matter what you choose he has little respect for the chain of command, or the mission.
So I liked him more when I was 'alturistic, nice shep' Funny that isn't it?
It's the character development everyone swears he doesn't have
Zaeed is amazing, I love him.
We do have a thread too.

He's hard as nails, pity he has less dialogue than others.
False. He actually has a TON of dialogue.
His context dialogue in missions is generally more unique and insightful than any of the other characters'. He has a LOT to say down in his cargo bay. Go back after every mission. Aside from Joker, he's the only character who will actually have something to say after each major mission.

His stories are the best. He is the only character that I had to talk to after every mission.
PLus he made for a very useful squad mate. I use him all the time. In my second playthrough I am trying hard to use him less, but he keeps coming back.

He is a cranky old man with a gun that he calls a B!T@h. He is BY FAR my favorite character in the game. I just love his hard-ass crusty attitude and look. The voice acting is second to none.

Um Star Wars character what? Other sci-fi universes are not allowed badass mercs? Stupid complaint Ragabul.
Nope, that's not it. Wrex is a badass merc and he's a ME character through and through. I can't quite put my finger on it with Zaeed. The name is part of it...Zaeed Massani, Carth Onasi, Obi-Wan Kenobi. It just fits right in.
Actually Zaeed Massani is an arabic name not a Lucas invention.

Exactly. Don't just walk up to him, hit spacebar once and leave when he says "This takes me back" or whatever. Click on him a few times, he talks about the mission you just went on, sometimes last 2 missions if you haven't talked in a while. So you don't get to say much to him. Half the times I am talking to my squadmates the choices of what I get to say are fail anyway.

I clicked on him once. It was horrible. His voice followed me around everywhere until i ran into the lift and desperately pressed those buttons. It was like hearing "the good old days" stories" from a longwinded fellow!
Also his entire area is booby trapped. An accident click and he will start telling you about his model turian cruiser, his trophy helmet and worst of all his old broken rifle. Bloody old geezer!
