He has some good one liners. I didnt like him at first either, but he grew on me.

I don't dislike Zaeed, but I don't really like him either. More of a meh, good tanker.

Zaeed is a reliable squad member. While clearly not leader material he is a very dependable warrior and he's quite honest about his opinions and past.

I liked him when playing Paragon, because I could convince him to save the workers and keep him loyal, and he realized we had to be a team to suceed, etc.

Playing Renegade I didn't like him much at all. No matter what you choose he has little respect for the chain of command, or the mission.

So I liked him more when I was 'alturistic, nice shep' Funny that isn't it?

It's the character development everyone swears he doesn't have :P

Zaeed is amazing, I love him.

We do have a thread too.

False. He actually has a TON of dialogue.

His context dialogue in missions is generally more unique and insightful than any of the other characters'. He has a LOT to say down in his cargo bay. Go back after every mission. Aside from Joker, he's the only character who will actually have something to say after each major mission.

Zaeed's pretty cool. I like him. I just wish he was better presented with some proper dialogue with Shepard in the Normandy, he would be much more popular then.

I like him but the only gripe I have is that you can't actually 'talk' to him on the Normandy, just listen to his stories, while cool, just don't help you get closer to the character and care if he lives or dies too much compared to the other characters.

He reminds me a little of a teacher I had back when I was a nipper. He'd been an engineer in WW2 and had dozens of horror stories he loved to relate to the class while we were mucking about with lathes and bench saws, most of them involving brains being blown out or limbs being taken off. One of the best teachers I ever had, that guy ... :)

He is a cranky old man with a gun that he calls a B!T@h.  He is BY FAR my favorite character in the game.  I just love his hard-ass crusty attitude and look.  The voice acting is second to none.

His stories are the best.  He is the only character that I had to talk to after every mission.

PLus he made for a very useful squad mate.  I use him all the time. In my second playthrough I am trying hard to use him less, but he keeps coming back.

Um Star Wars character what? Other sci-fi universes are not allowed badass mercs? Stupid complaint Ragabul.

Nope, that's not it.  Wrex is a badass merc and he's a ME character through and through.  I can't quite put my finger on it with Zaeed.  The name is part of it...Zaeed Massani, Carth Onasi, Obi-Wan Kenobi.  It just fits right in.

Actually Zaeed Massani is an arabic name not a Lucas invention.

everyone in your squad can not be used in the suicide mission, oh except for miranda cause she has to for no reason always be leader, even when you assign someone else to be leader she still is leader, its dumb i know, thats why i kill her off

I've always liked him. He's a hardcase without being a frothing lunatic, he can do nearly as much AssRifle damage as Shepard, he's great with Infiltrators (my personal fav class), and his attitude and one-liners fit perfectly on my RenegadeShep playthrough.

Plus, it's like fighting alongside Mayor Murdock, which is awesome.

I might if I could actually have a conversation with him, because he might have some interesting stories, but no i don't care for him and I seldom take him with me.

Exactly. Don't just walk up to him, hit spacebar once and leave when he says "This takes me back" or whatever. Click on him a few times, he talks about the mission you just went on, sometimes last 2 missions if you haven't talked in a while. So you don't get to say much to him. Half the times I am talking to my squadmates the choices of what I get to say are fail anyway.

I clicked on him once. It was horrible. His voice followed me around everywhere until i ran into the lift and desperately pressed those buttons. It was like hearing "the good old days" stories" from a longwinded fellow!

Also his entire area is booby trapped. An accident click and he will start telling you about his model turian cruiser, his trophy helmet and worst of all his old broken rifle. Bloody old geezer!

I think Zaeed is awesome, some of the things he comes out with during missions is utterly hilarious and he's extremely handy when playing on insanity.
