All this free stuff is making me nervous. 

I'm starting to think Bioware has a ulterior motive beyond being nice and flipping off game retailers.

Its like were paying with our souls.   xD

I might go back to the Avenger and see how it kills compared to the Vindicator. I've always been a little irked that I keep running out of ammo.

I'm already nerd raging at the fact that I'd have otherwise been forced to shell out cash on crappy candy drinks to get those items

Well if you can not aim sure. I prefer the Vindicator since I can pop out of cover,  fire two to three quick bursts into someones skull killing them and then be back into cover. Where as with any of the other AR's you will need to stay exposed longer to do the same amount of damage.

Adrenaline Burst + Vindicator = win. I love the Vindicator. I also liked the AR you find on the Collector ship....was it the Revenant? I am for more pistols and SMGs though.

Ha then the jokes one them cause I sold my soul for a Mountain Dew like 15 years ago.

On another topic, where do you get the geth pulse rifle. I've only done one playthrough and doing my second now and I don't remember running into it, is it during Legion's loyality mission?

You get it at the end of Tali's Recruitment Mission, however it only shows up if you play that mission on Hardcore or Insanity Difficulty. Note that you don't need to play on Hardcore or Insanity for the entire playthrough just to get it: You can set your difficulty to Hardcore/Insanity before you land on Haestrom, and the weapon will appear.

Yeah, man, thanks.  That was my first sell - easy as hell, looked good for big guy down there.

Geth pulse rifle is found only on Hardcore(maybe Vetran, not sure) and above, near where you find Tali in her recruit mission.

Avenger: Lead hose, weak gun, no accuracy at mid-long range.



Vindicator: Headshotville, precision and finesse at mid-long range, in my opinion most reliable gun in the game. <brap> <brap> <brap> reload and three enemies fall to the ground. Keep it in your hand and use it till it runs out, then fall back on something else.



Vindicator's only limitation is when things get in close... then draw the shotty or the smg.

Dear lord don’t tell me someone is thinking that we need another heavy weapon in the game? The six we got is way more than we really need.



If anything we need more of the other weapons (6 in each- pistols, smg’s, shotguns, assault rifles and sniper rifles) to at least match the number of heavy weapons choice. This of course excludes anything gotten from download exclusives like from the collectors edition, marketing like Dr. Pepper, and preorder exclusives.

A bastardized cross breed of the Revanant Light Machine gun and the Collector partical Cannon. The damned nomandy Tech have had plenty of time to make the bigger badder LAZOR that the CpC description hints at being possible to create. You heard it here first folks

Somehow this just gave me an idea:

What if the new heavy is a Normandy weapon targeting device similar to the weapon in Gears of War? I forget what it's called at the moment, but you point the lazer and the Normandy fries everything from orbit.

Nobody used anything but the Avenger and the Revenant. The Vindicator was a joke, the Geth Pulse Rifle has variable damage and only CE players have the Collector Rifle. We need more USEFUL Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles.

Okay I have to disagree with that. I took the Vindicator with my Adept class with Warp Ammo. That thing is ridiculous. I was playing on Veteran and killing enemies with one burst at times. I don't see how you can say they need to add more assault rifles in the game. Do want enemies to die just from you aiming at them? Cause if they make them any more powerful, that's probably what will happen. 

We do need a unique version of both the SMG and the Heavy Pistol. As far as Heavy Weapons are concerned, I'd like to see some smaller ones. I don't like having my long rifle covered up. When I have one that is.

Thank you, that's it. I'd love to see something like that in this game. It would only work when you're above ground and have direct access to the Normandy overhead, somewhere in orbit.
