Huh? I'm I the only one satisfied with the M-9 Tempest. I'm not even sure I'd use another SMG if they made one unless they deliberately made it more powerful than the tempest.

It'd probably be one suited for taking down armor, since SMGs are beast at tearing down shields/barrier.

I'm also not interested in more weapons. I'd rather have more armor pieces for customization, and maybe a new pattern or two.

I don't use heavy weapons much. Missile launcher on the flying collector things, and the final boss. That's about it.

The heavy weapon achievment is the only one I haven't gotten, because I haven't bothered with the avalanche gun.

I almost never use my heavy weapons, not even on Insanity.  I like getting 100 credits every time I see a power ammo box.

I loved the vindicator.  That was my primary weapon on my NG+ Sentinel Insanity Run.
