Or just stick to Singularity+Warp?
How well does Singularity+Shockwave work?

If you mean chained, its probably somewhat redundant. I usually opt for Singularity+Throw if I want to hurl enemies off ledges for instant kills.
Shockwave may work but usually doesn't have the same flinging force that throw offers.

Shockwave is pretty pathetic on Shepard. There is always a better skill to throw out there than shockwave. The only time I use it is if Jack is in my party and I want to knock someone out of cover.

Shockwave is pretty fun to spam on husks or wherever enemies are still untargetable by singularity/warp etc. like as soon as they've spawned.

I'm not sure it means anything to say 'I only use Shockwave when I want to knock enemies out of cover' in a game where practically every firefight enemies are either behind or using cover. I only use my weapons when there are enmies on the screen....
Shockwave ranks as one of my fave powers. It's like a specialised version of Throw, calibrated to be used on uneven environments where there's lots of enemies at close range.

If you're a vanguard and the enemies are at close range then you're in shotgun range and should be saving your cooldown for charge. If you're an adept, give me one instance where it's more practical to use shockwave rather than wide singularity on a group of close range enemies. The only places I can think of where you might want to shockwave are the bridge in Dantius Towers and Collector platform battles as there's a chance to knock them into the abyss. However, that would require them to have no defenses, and Heavy Throw would be much more reliable anyway.
Shockwave is great on Jack because she can spam it essentially every six seconds. It's an excellent crowd control skill, but I mainly use it to make enemies in low cover stand up so I can either snipe them or use long range direct damage powers on them. Without the universal cooldown, shockwave would be an excellent addition to Shepard's repetoire, but as of now I think it's a fairly situational power.

I was playing around earlier with Singularity + Slam. While it might not be very "effective" it's still hilarious to see. The enemy basically bounces around like a pin ball off the ceiling and floor.

Has anyone actually used shockwave + singularity enough to give an answer that doesn't involve shockwave sucks (explain what makes it good or bad)? Does it do anything other than fling people around when combined with singulairity? Finally does the AOE version have a wide enough effect to make hitting multiple people with it easier when compared to throw field? I know warp is better for hitting groups of enemies but I'm trying to find a use for Shockwave that uses it for more than just a stun/headshot tool and a inferor throw/pull.

To answer your question, singularity+shockwave does not work very well. My previous post explains why. Shockwave itself certainly has its uses, it just doesn't combine well with other biotics. Singularity+Shockwave is certainly a sight to behold, but from an efficacy standpoint, it will always be better to use a warp detonation.

Ive tried both, and its basically a waste. Shockwave is definitely more tailored to simply knocking guys out of the way which isn't improved much by Singularity since it can bypass covers most of the time anyways.
It makes more sense to pull guys into the air with singularity, then hit them with throw but even that isnt the most ideal combo. Pull+Throw would make more sense. For singularity, Warp is the definite pairing.

Look guys, Shockwave sucks because of its cooldown time being so long. That's it. Stop arguing that it's better than the quickfiring faster-cooldown powers. When you use shockwave, you cant do anything but shoot for around 4.5 seconds. Add that it'll take around a second to REACH your target.
Mainly, though, it locks your character out for around 4 seconds. No thanks. It's not good enough to balance out the cooldown time, especially versus pull, singularity, and so forth. It's the same reason inferno grenade isn't advised, because it's got a long cooldown. Shockwave isn't nearly as long (due to cooldown reductions), but the same philosophy applies.

Where in this thread did anyone post "Shockwave>than all!!!!!!"? And shockwave does not suck, it just sucks on Shepard for precisely the reason you just stated.
