If you hardened Alistair and married him to Anora, but let Loghain live..?

In my redeemer ending I talked to Alistair during the coronation and the first thing he said was: "So, Loghain was killed by the Archdemon"[...]

I put him on the throne and the blight just ended. His only concern was Loghain? wtf is wrong with him? He is my favorite character, but this made him lose a lot of points.

What does Alistair say if Loghain survives the final battle? I'm really curious.

He throws a minor fit, but tells you he's starting to get over it, which could imply if both survive Origins and are forced to work together they may eventually act like responsible adults and actually try to save Ferelden for once, rather then go throw a hissy fit.

in my ending with that scenerio - anora was the "acting" ruler but she said that alistair was good witht he people issues (I don't remember the exact dialogue), she also said that their relationship was better than she thought which was surprising to her (again I paraphrase). Alistair did talk to me in the post coronation (but was still very frosty). I would assume that I would be dealing with anora as (a poster above already pointed this out) she was who you deal with before the battle begins. I agree that the bigger question is will they mention alaistairs execution if you let loghain live and went solo anora?

Was Loghain alive? Because I sacrificed him to the archdemon and Alistair was pretty cool with me after the coronation, he said he was glad of our victory, it's just that he expected to be a grey warden and see everything through to the end.

no that was the dialogue, maybe frosty was a bad description - he just didn't seem like we were buds anymore, but he was cordial - but to answer the question I got the same dialogue as you...

Extra points for eloquence.

After having read all posts regarding this ending (title) nobody could tell me how Alistair reacted towards you in the Keep. I played this now myself (Alistair and Anora married, Loghain alive) and Alistair shows up at Vigils Keep exactly like the way he does if he becomes King and Loghain's dead. Alistair has apparently forgiven you and you are friends again with him. I know that Loghain is supposed to show up at the keep after two of the main quests have been resolved, but I won't do them just to hear him talk for one minute. Did anybody play this way? What did Loghain say?

Yes, Alistair shows up in Awakenings all friendly regardless of what happened prior. This is less him becoming friends and more that they couldn't waste time on Alistair since he only appears in the introduction. He needs lines if you:Imported no romance, Imported with romance, or Orlesian. And if you marry him to Anora and spare Loghain, you get Imported no romance Alistair.

Even though this post was created over a year ago, I still think I might post a reply.
In my game, I had Alistair & Anora rule jointly, and I killed Loghain so that Anora wouldn't refuse Alistair's hand.

Who will be the one to speak to you in Awakening in the parts when the King/Queen should? Because in the scenes after the battle only Anora appeared with the Chantry Priestess or whatever (although you could speak with Alistair and he had Cailan's armor on, but he didn't appear in the coronation thing). What do you think?

Alistair will be the one who appears. And all will apparently be forgiven.
