Just posting this because it's been of benefit to me so I thought I'd share it.
I was getting CTDs roughly every 20 minutes. I had tried pretty much everything I could think of short of formatting my drives to solve the problem. Eventually I tried using Nhancer to force the SLI mode used as Split Frame Rendering and voila, since then the game has only crashed once in about 6 hours of play. So while it may not be a complete solution, it's essentially made the game playable which is all I really desired.
