I've already cracked open Wwise_generic_music.afc and didn't find it there.
Nevermind, found it.

They're not inside the guns .pcc files as they only have the models and textures.
Trying to find Predator gunshot. Does anyone know?

I started by using Gildor's Unreal Package Extractor to extract all files from PCC files. Within the extracted files are *.wwisebank files. These are similar to the AFC files, except they have some junk in the header of the file.
So, I open up a Hex editor (XVI32 is a simple, portable hex editor) and searched for the first instance of RIFF in the text (case sensitive). I deleted all header information preceding the RIFF text, saved as a new file and used afc2ogg 1.3 to extract ogg files.
Like AFC files, multiple RIFF files are located in the WwiseBank files.
I've tested this with a couple files so far, such as SFXWeapon_AssaultRifle_Mattock.
Beware, some WwiseBank files work, but not all of them.
I've personally been looking for the loud buzzing Reaper Scream (not sure what else to call it), but I don't have the time tonight to do much more than this.
Hope this helps.
Edit: Sometimes AFC2ogg doesn't extract all ogg files, so I have to keep trimming the file until I get all RIFF files separated. Moreover, PCC files that start with "SFX" tend to have audio files in them.

Music is stored in AFC files that begin with Wwise. They're stored with other sound files.Darth Nikil wrote...
Does anyone knows where the music of Mass Effect 3 is packed? I've extracted 'Wwise_Generic_Music.afc' but there were only a handful of music fractions. The only other file that's including 'music' in it's name is 'BioD_Nor_101CabinMusic.pcc' and that obvious just contains the music in Shepard's cabin (which was quiet awful compared to the cabin music in ME2 imho).
E.g. Wwise_Kro001_Streaming.afc contains music from the mission on Surkesh, among other sound files.

However, I have "Assuming direct control" as my Windows startup sound, "BWOOOAAAAMM" as my login sound, and "Releasing Control" as my shutdown sound. I can assure you that it is awesome.
Also accurately reflects my computer's relationship with me.
EDIT: Still looking for that chime, if anyone has found it.
EDIT 2: FOUND! It was actually just a WAV file in Mass Effect 2\\data\\launcher. Sweet, sweet chime, you are mine.

Led Guardian wrote... I prefer not to upload files like these. Sorry.
Oh, come one ;-) Some 1-click file hosting service and only send the links via PM to people who nicely ask for it.

Thanks
Too bad they are stored with other sound files but at least they seem to be quite a little bit more clearly sorted than in ME1 & 2
Anyway, now I have to extract and re-cut my personal ME3 Soundtrack, even though I'm not ready with the ME2 one...what a pity
