Bravenu3 thanks so much for this it has greatly helped getting some of the sound effects.
I have two questions:
1) Where is the sound effect for the Normandy's door opening and closing? I have been going through the WWise files a little at a time but it is not labeled and have not found it yet.
2) Riff files could the sound effect I am looking for be one of these? VLC Media player does not see them.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Luric

I can't seem to find the dialogue that takes place in the actual romance scenes (such as Jacob's "But the priiiiizzzze"). It just doesn't seem to be there. Has anyone found any of those files?

Is there a file for converting .ogg back to .afc? or whatever ME3 uses.
I would like to get rid of the "Sorry, we lost Thessia." and replace it with "F***." That one line is so stupid and had nothing to do with the mission.

Why not replace it with....
"I'm VERY sorry, we lost Thessia........ <small voice> I won't...... do it..... again."

"I tried to save the entire planet..., but... all those Reapers.... I'm sorry I lost Thessia."
If this works, I might try.... "Ah yes, 'Reapers.' Well you have your proof."

Or Maybe.....
"Ah, yes. Reapers". <slams hands down on the table as he leans forward> "WHERE IS YOUR GODDESS NOW!!!"

Alas, I can't change the animations.

Hi everyone. I need you to help me find quotes.
I need all the quotes taking place in The Lair of Shadow Broker DLC, during the romance scene with Liara in SHepard's cabin.
I extracted "DLC_EXP_Part01_Int.afc" but I noticed there wasn't the Shadow Broker's quotes and Liara's romance quotes.
Where are these missing scenes ?
It's important to me ![]()

I know this thread is 6 years old, but I have a music file request for Mass Effect 2 if anyone happens to know the exact file name. I'm trying to find the file containing the music that plays very briefly in the final mission when the Human-Reaper Larva is revealed to be alive and climbs up (not the combat music that follows). I feel like it should be in the "endgame2_music" folder, since that's where all the other music files in that scene are located. These include the musics for the other three major occurrences involving the Larva: "reaperdeath" (when the Larva is destroyed), "reaperreveal" (when we first see the inactive Larva), and "reaperreveal_conv" (when EDI is telling Shepard about the Larva). The only one that's missing is the one that plays right after you make the decision regarding the fate of the Collector Base, and the Larva suddenly reappears like "SURPRISE MUTHAF***A, I'M STILL ALIVE!!!" I've looked in several other folders and can't seem to find it.
If anyone knows the name of that file or which folder it can be found in (within the extracted ME2 audio directory), I would greatly appreciate it if you would share this information with me.

Oh, and I'm also looking for the file containing the music that plays if and when the tech expert who is instructed to open and close the door is killed (which sounds like a lower-toned version of "huddlefail" without the violin). Would appreciate any information as to that file's whereabouts as well.
Basically, my goal is to compile the complete score from the Suicide Mission, and these two missing cues are all I need to truly finish the collection. I will also note that I have looked in two different instances of the ME2 audio files, having used both available extraction tools, and am having no luck finding these two cues.

Nevermind my last post - I just found the Tech Specialist Death cue, or at least a copy of it, in one of the DLC directories (SFX folder of DLC_UNC_MOMENT01, which I'm pretty sure is the Normandy Crash Site). Can't figure why it's not in the audio for the base game, but at least I have it now. Still looking for that Larva reappearance cue though.

Actually, go ahead and disregard all three of my posts above. Turns out the cues I was looking for were not located in the game's .afc files at all; I managed to find both of them, as well as a few others I forgot about, by converting a few .pcc files using the ME3 extraction tool. I'm sure nobody cares, but I just thought I'd share that bit of info.

It's amazing to see this thread is still active.
To celebrate the longevity of Mass Effect sound files I have an incredibly strange request. If possible I need every audio file of dialogue where the characters say Commander. Not Commander Shepherd but just plain ol' Commander. And mind you I don't need every file, but a healthy chunk. The files can be from any game in the trilogy as long as it's pure spoken dialogue with no other sounds in the background. I would go and plunder all these files myself but I'm a Macbook pleb and I'm truly not the savviest with extracting files. I do a little DJing here and there under the name Cole Da CMNDR and these files would serve as my unique sound tags for an upcoming mix I'm preparing.
I doubt this is an easily accomplishable task and you're in no way inclined to help me; but if you thought to yourself "What would Shep do?" he'd give me these audio files in mass (effect). Pun game is on point. Thank you for your time.

Does anyone know how to extract audio from .riff files that the provided extraction tools are unable to convert? I'm specifically trying to get the Dark Star music (amb_citadel_hub_dance_club.riff) but KYP's and Gibbed's tools have both failed in the conversion process and I can't find any way to access the music in that file. Any help would be appreciated.
