I was wondered if there is a specific color code to the various minerals. In a mission, when you pick up the boxes/crates of minerals there are different colors (for example, green = iridium). I am beginning to wonder if this is true of the planets. I'm already done scanning the planets I need this time around, but has anyone else noticed that on certain color planets they get more of one particular mineral than another?

Never tried that, but interesting assertion. I always found you got minerals in pairs... I.E. Platinum and Iridium found together, Palladium and Eezo found together... or maybe I got it backward but I think it worked that way... where there was one, there was one other in a large amount and trace amounts of everything else.

i dont think so. its the planet type that dictates what the type and amount of minerals that are on the planet. For example, element zero can be found on planets that have already been colonized. There are other types but i dont have the guide on me at the time.
