Hello all,

We are aware of issues that customers are currently having downloading and registering Origins and DLC. The team is currently investigating this issue and we hope to have it resolved as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience. We'll keep you updated with status!

UPDATE: The root cause behind this issue has been identified and resolved. If you are still having a problem purchasing or downloading DLC, this this: Open up the folder My Documents\\bioware\\Dragon Age\\Settings and delete the offers.xml file.

If you have downloads that are stuck, run the configuration utility found in the Dragon Age launcher and click the "Repair" button on the left. Next, click the "Clear download cache" button.

Well, thank you for information, but can you have less frightening message when unable to register origins because of server down. Now it says "Code is not valid for game" which makes some people (me for example) worried :) I contacted EA live support and they told me that my key is ok and I will be able to register when the server will be up, but it would be nice to have proper _different_ error messages when the server is down and when the key is invalid.

Would this issue suddenly cause previously downloaded/installed and registered DLC to suddenly start showing up as unauthorized and unplayable?

I bought the retail version of DA and purchased some of the additional content yet it won't download it, it gets stuck at 0% for the Wardens Keep an Ostragar. I haven't registed the game officially...I think. can't tell if I am registerd or not due to all these profiles are gettign really confusing. Should I try later for the content download or is my issue something dfifferent from what the Facilitator posted about?

hmm... ok... kinda strange that on my game today it only seems to not recognize that Ostagar is an authorized download... others are fine although it is trying to download blood dragon armor and Ostagar again, even though both have already been downloaded, completed (in-game play), and activated. Hmm... hopefully fixed soon... can't get on my game until they are.

Would these same server issues also explain why I get an error when requesting the password for my (very old) Bioware account?

Now Return to Ostagar isn't showing up in the download window it shows in the available content, and my already installed RtO still shows as invalid.

I had a very unproductive experience chatting with a customer support representative as well. A server issue shouldn't invalidate previously purchased and installed content. I am not just now trying to purchase and download this DLC, I've owned it and had it installed for nearly a month already.

I purchased Return to Ostagar last night and it's stuck downloading at 0%. I can't force download it and I tried all the steps in both the official and unofficial FAQs. I even downloaded the .dazip file and installed it with the DAupdater, it all went well but when I launch the game I can still not go to Return to Ostagar content and my DLC doesn't show Return to Ostagar in the installed tab, but rather keeps showing it in the Download Progress tab, downloading and stuck at 0%.

Similar problem here - all three DLC purchased, none of the downloads will start.

Me too. Two pieces of DLC purchased, bioware points spirited away into the ether, and downloading stalled at 0.

Same thing as sonofajoiner. Bought 2 DLC. Download stuck at 0%. Says it can't reach the

DA servers

As above, Blood Armour and Ostagar set at 0%. It says Blood Armour is installed and enabled, the Ostagar DLC is downloaded but says unregistered and disabled.

I can't play a game I have bought and have played since release.

Bioware/EA, disable your server check until you have resolved YOUR problem. Let the people who have paid for their games play their games.

Same as sonofajoiner.

I have trouble downloading return to ostagar and and wardens keep.

Several days ago I have downloaded stone prisoner and dragon armor without any trouble.

Tried disabling the firewall and cleaning the download cache as well as other things listed in: http://social.biowar.../58/index/81613, but no luck.

I haven't tried only downloading the DLC out of game.

Perfect justification for why DRM is a great idea but poor execution.

DRM should only be executed at the point of install. what if my internet was out... what if i spent all of my internet bill money to buy the DLC (not really the case but still)

constant internet required content should be classified as online gameplay functionality... not DLC.

DLC=Downloadable content. I bought it, downloaded it, registered it, played 30 hrs on it... why do i have to reauthorize it on the same install.... poor execution... that's why.

Agreed. And same problem. Ostagar (bought, installed and authorized) is showing as unauthorized on my DLC screen and is keeping me from loading my saved game. Or, I get it to load and I'm naked because I was wearing Calain's armor before this issue. PITA.

Any Idea when the server will be fixed? I am unable to load any saved games at the moment because it they are all associated with the dlc I have had for a month.

I also wanted to add, just how great it is that I can't play my single player game because the ea/bioware servers are down.

Does this also explain why i can't register DA:Origins (shop bought) which I only installed this evening?

It's probably some sort of Darkspawn leak. They can be a mare to sort.

And, the registration thing is more than likely due to the same problem. I just noticed I hadn't registered my game and despite typing the product key incredibly slowly and carefully, I kept being told my number is invalid. But it's not.
And I can read and everything.
