She's a cute redhead.

I don't find them astonishingly alike. They're both bisexuals rogues who've killed people, but their past, personality, and outlook on life seem very different.

OldMan, you have to step back a bit, imo. She hunts them for the sole purpose of killing. She feels bad about it. So does Zevran.

Yes, they both feel bad about it. Leliana however enjoys the Hunt, the means itself which may or may not lead to killing. Just wanted to clarify.



I can only tell you that I personally prefer Leliana because of her personality and those weird adorable moments she has. I don't think of her being more "moral" or "better" than Zevran. They both have a tragic and violent past. I have a great deal of sympathy for both.

I dislike Leliana. And you know what? There's nothing wrong with that. I truly despise her. That being said, there's nothing wrong with liking Leliana either. I just get annoyed when people say why they don't like her and are immediately mobbed by people telling them to shut up. Leliana is not the most perfect character ever made, and some poeple don't like her. Get over it.

(by the way, Sabriana, this isn't directed at you. I just noticed it could be interpreted that way.)

There is nothing wrong with disliking Leliana, or any other character. Different people have different tastes. I understand and have no problem with that. I just have no interest in responding to heckling when it's meant to just be heckling because of a particular view I hold. Compare/constrasting views is fine, trying to goad an inflammed reaction just isn't worth the time to me.

This actually is pretty representative of what we get in our Zevran squee thread.  Leliana fans have it pretty good when it comes to trolls .

My point exactly. No one ever heckles the Leliana fans. She's also seen as sweet and innocent when she's really not. It's really quite nauseating.

I seem to recall taking my fair share of abuse for being a Leli fan.

And I said heckling because any word against Leliana is instantly heckling in the eyes of every leliana fan I've come across. If I point out her manipulations, elitism and racism, they give an excuse for her or more often, tell you to shut up and get out.
