Everybody doesn't love Tali. Some people love Miranda, Ashley, Thane, Garrus, Joker, etc.



Its only personal preference to who people like. I like Tali for her personality and the mystery with her. I also like her because Quarians are my favorite species in Mass Effect.

Well look at it this way, as far as Tali is Concerned, She's the Ultimate Geek Fantasy. She's Smart, a tech head, and she's kind of the girl next door type, and she's all Mysterious since you can't see what she really looks like. That's my theory at least.

I always thought people simply adored her but this helps me understand more as to why some might actually "fantasize about and craze her." I always thought it was just her hips or something else. That's an excellent theory.

Anyways, some people still can't grasp the different between sexual/physical desire vs affection. For example: Many people like Garrus, but how many was because of how he looks?

I remember once I argued with a guy around here on a similar topic he just summed it up as a personal feeling that inter-species relationship is wrong while I claim that so long as it's based on an affection between two sapient species with a similar degree of intelligence it's fine.
Come to think of it, his argument or feeling as well as OP's might very well apply to the way people conceive those with a different skin colour from them a few centuries ago...I'm just sayin.

No.  I have had a similar argument but  skin colour of members of the same species is not the same as inter-species hang up that the OP has.

As far as people back then knew, people of different colours are considered fundamentally different creatures.

Is it her story? Her skills? Because she's in both ME1 & 2? Her accent? Seriously, just tell me why everyone loves her so much.

Everyone will have their own reasons, just like you have reasons for
liking characters that someone else may not.  If you don't think Tali
is anything special, then don't use her.  Hell, don't even do her
loyalty mission for all we care.  It doesn't matter to me or anyone
else who you like or don't like, and it certainly isn't worthy of
making yet another thread about.  Go away.
