The shadow werewolves are kicking me around with overwhelms at beginning of "Lairof ..." is there something that will protect from being overwhelmed?

Stunning the enemy doing the overwhelm might work?

too many of them, can't kill them all before they recover

High dexterity lets you dodge it. High armor rating helps minimize the damage, but IIRC those werewolves are good at getting through armor's damage reduction.

I didn't really have that problem. Guess I killed the werewolves before they could do the overwhelm. Try using Morrigans mind blast and massive AOE spells

Grrrrrrr, at all overwhelms. abilities that are basically a stunned with sustained damage are cheap.

Mind Blast is ftw when dealing with hordes of melee make sure to take advantage of your mage's disruption abilities these are life savers in tough fights with lots of baddies

I haven't had much trouble with the overwhelm abilities honestly, having a variety of stuns and aoe damage will usually help you get through before they can pull one of those cheap moves. However if one manages to get the overwhelm off have the rest of the party focus on it if you can stun or knockdown whatever's got your party member pinned you'll stop any more damage from being inflicted.

I don't think you have been in that particular fight, Riot, there are about 8 of them and half are overwhelming, am switching out for more Aoe and see how that goes, then it's down to Easy street.

switched out the Archer for Morrigan, it was still a tough fight but the few extra stuns made the difference
