There will be a new Dragon Age: Origins Awakening character video up this afternoon on Curse.com featuring the new party NPC Mhairi.

When Mhairi was a child, she was enraptured by tales of kings and nobles. All she wanted was to be like them, to fight for what she believed. Betrothed to a trader when she turned 16, she saw the life that lay ahead of her and enlisted in the army instead. Her fierce loyalty and devotion to Ferelden earned her the love and respect of her commanders and brothers-in-arms. King Cailan’s betrayal and death hit Mhairi hard, and when she learned of the two Grey Wardens who quelled the Blight almost single-handedly, she vowed to serve the Wardens. When
the call came for volunteers to help rebuild the order at Vigil’s Keep, Mhairi jumped at the chance to join.

Good news is good.

Sounds like a warrior; hoping she's not actually a rogue. Also upstanding, noble (the personality trait, not the social status), and badass. I'm not sure if I'm glad there's no romance or not--between this gal and Sigrun, it sounds like I'd have a whole mess of trouble staying faithful to Leliana.

And yes, Mhairi is actually quite hot. So much so, a certain dwarf even makes comments about her amazing rack.

Warriors should get compliments on their amazing muscles, not their amazing fat deposits.

And doesn't every female of a given race technically have the exact same rack?

i guess that settles the whole: "I WANT A COOL FEMALE WARRIOR!" thing... not that i disagree with that statement so i wonder what the next male is like
